Default Anyone work BIG VENUE PARTYS

Ok, so Monday is the day I meet with a woman to finalize a Mardi Gras Ball. Her husband was crowned King. (this is a big big deal). I will be doing the table settings, name tag, oh lot's of little chachies. My part for the whole ball is small in comparison to the total picture. I am doing 50 of all she has in mind. There will be close to 500 at the ball. The thing I come to all of you about is that the design man that does the whole ballroom has singled her out and is oooohhhing and awwwwwwing over what she has come up with to do their tables vs. what others are doing. I want to and know I can blow this mans mind with things. He has been the man to do this job for 28 years. I've been doing the paper craft things for years now and have never considered these types of events for a money making gig. I am looking for anyone who does this and want to pick your brains as to the hows and what not to do's.
Anyone care to share????
