I like my slit punch but I cannot seem to get the perfect effect shown here on this beautiful card by rubberchicken Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
My question is: Do you measure? How to you get the little tabs so even? I think I am always making my outer layer to small to begin with & then I end up trying to fix the slit with my exacto.
Hmmm I used mine for the first time today and thought they turned out very well. I line up my cardstock on some lined paper and make it even lines on each side of the punch and punch it out!!
I went to a demo shoebox swap today, and the hostess showed us that she had made sharpie marks on the bottom(silver part) that were in the same place as the little nubbins on the side. We then used it upside down and made sure those were even with the CS. I think that this changed my feelings on this punch in a good way.
