I subscribed in late April. I received my May magazine in the beginning of June and now I'm still waiting for the June edition. I've called three times to ask where my magazines are only to be told that one was mailed on July 1st, then it changed to July 7th and that my August edition shipped out July 13 or 14th. Still waiting........
Have any of you had problems with this company? I'm growing ver impatient. I just received two months of Creating Keepsakes with in 3 weeks of each other. At least they are on top of their mailings.
I used to subscribe when they first came out but didn't renew after the first year. The mailings were always late and I'd be able to find the magazine on newsstands before it arrived in my mailbox. At the time I wasn't that impressed with the projects featured either, but that may have improved since then.

I've had a subscription for two years now and haven't had any problems in receiving my issues. If I were you, I would contact one of the mucky mucks at CardMaker and let them know of your dissatisfaction with the service you've received so far.

Good idea! If I have an issue with a product or a service and it isn't fixed after the first call, I will usually ask, "May I please speak to your supervisor?" Often the first person who answers the phone is not well trained in all the rigamarole to fix problems.
So they haven't changed??? I had a subscription and my issues always arrived in mailbox at least 3 weeks after I saw them on the shelf at Barnes & Noble and at least 2 weeks after on the shelf at my local LSS. I made many calls, sent emails with no solution. Then requested my money back. HAH!! That took even longer........after 6 weeks (and no further issues arriving either) I sent a registered return receipt requested letter about it and FINALLY got my refund. THEN two weeks after that, I got an offer from them "wanting me back" as a subscriber. Ah...yeah right...NOT!

Same here. :0(

I think my 4th call will be to ask for a refund. This is just stupid. I have better things to do than track magazines. Can't they just mail the darn thing. I actually did subscribe to Paper Crafts recently. Looks yummy, plus its from Creating Keepsakes isn't it? Much more reputable company.
I subscribed initially and had some problems with my subscriptions. They were always helpful when I called and resent out the magazine and/or extended my subscription. While I liked it, I decided to not renew because there wasn't enough just stamping cards. While I like making cards, I prefer to see samples of stamped cards :-) so I've decided to just wait and get the Take Ten's and Stamp It! Cards mags.

I subscribed about three months ago. I got the May issue in June. Never got the June issue. Just got the July issue on Saturday. *sigh* Now that I see a lot of people are having trouble with them, I doubt I renew my subscription.
I subscribed through my dd school but I have no idea which ones I actually received. I don't care for the magazine much though and I don't plan on subscribing again.
This isn't a monthly magazine. A year's subscription is for six issues. If you received the May issue, then the next issue will be the July issue, then the September issue, etc.

Thanks for pointing that out!! I'm glad I didn't call them to complain!! D'oh!! lol
Yep..this one doesnt come out every month. I had the same problem with Papercrafts---got my first issue last week (suscribed in April) and then the next week I got the next one. Guess it takes a while when you first suscribe!
But I have to say, one of the most beautiful projects I EVER saw was in Cardmaker magazine this past spring and it was by our own JulieHRR.....it made me a Cardmaker subscriber!!!
Hope you all get your subscriptions straightened out---and make sure to suscribe to the largest magazine of all--the DD gallery fan club!
IMHO Cardmaker is getting better and better each issue. It started out slow but I think has really developed into a magazine that has something for everyone who makes cards -- from beginner to more advanced. I like that it doesn't just focus on seeing how much paper product can be applied to a single card, but tries to showcase different styles from using photos to quilling to stamping to die cuts.
If I had continued problems with a subscription I'd e-mail one of the editors or associate editors immediately because I've found their staff to be very eager to answer questions or solve problems that come up.
I sent in my subscription form in May and got a "bill" for my free magazine in mid June. I still have no magazine! I called last week and told them that Houston isn't that far from Big Sandy, TX. where the mailing address is! I was told that my magazine is on its way....1 week later and still no magazine. I'm hoping it will be worth the wait.
