No, not in Excell. I bought a computer program made just for rubber stamping.

It prints out inverntory sheets in Excell. It really doeas everything. Even has a placce to add photo links of your stamps and supplies.

It is by LNS - called Organized Expressions

My, my sis and my SIL all have our lists in Excel. We include the catalog name the stamps were in and a link to the set in the SCS gallery along with standard things like the price, number of stamps in the set, etc.

We send each other our lists and each have new sheets for each person. This way we try not to duplicate our purchases too much and we can share with each other.

I love my inventory list!! DH set it all up, actually HE did the whole list... went through all my stuff and typed in all the set names, then left it to me to do the color coded portion. (retired, SAB, traded, sold etc..) He even thought far enough ahead to include my accessories in a separate section. I did a list within my Excel inventory list (pg 2) for my sister in NC so we don't duplicate purchase unless it's a set we both really love--- like Loads of Love.. LOL I never thought of putting a link there to the gallery though.. Cool idea.

Wow I am glad to know I am not the only one who has created an excel stamp list. My mom, sister, and I all share our toys, so our list also contains a column for who "owns" the set. That way we know whose stamp stash we have to raid. I have also crated a list for all of the inks colors. The colors are all listed by family and run down the columns, and across the top I have put all of the formats they come in. (Just like the chart in the catti) thay way I can keep track of what I own in what color.

I use an Excel spreadsheet to list my stamps and my other accessories. It's not real detailed, but at least I can know at a glance which stamp sets I already have when I'm looking at all the wonderful cards on this site. I also have a spreadsheet with my wishlist, which includes product number and price for each item.

I also organize my stamps in Excel...have them sorted alphabetically and also have columns for wheel, background, or set. My wish list and future orders are stored on the same worksheet. It is very handy.

I have been thinking of doing an inventory for years and it's supposed to be my "summer project" this year. So far haven't done it..LOL The rubber stamping inventory program sounds interesting. Will have to look into it. TFS and for all of the info. Will come in handy when I get motivated to do it.

I organize in Excel listing what I have, what my next order is and my wish list. I have them on three different pages in one workbook. I find it is great as you can include as little or as much info on each stamp (code, name, page number, price, number of stamps in the set, etc.) I am going to look into the program Karen mentioned "LNS Organized Expression" I am interested to see if it will suit my needs.

ihave my list in excel as well. They're split up by SETS, BG WHEELS and of course WISH LIST, alphabetically in each catagory. then color coded by current and retired. But I never thought about my accessories that's a good one. I'll have to get busy and add them. Very handy I started this list about 4 years ago so my sister and I could trade sets instead of buying dups., But I have since moved to Oregon and now it's not easy anymore..lol

Default Excel

I'm with the previous poster. I just list them alphabetically and continue to add new sets whenever I purchase them. Since I'm also Excel challlenged, I just use it to keep a running list of what I have.

Default Excel Spreadsheet

I also have all my SU sets and supplies in an excel spreadsheet with a worksheet for the stamps, inks, markers, paper and misc.

I also have all my non SU supplies listed but do not have all my non SU stamps listed yet. That was suppose to be my winter project--started it but didn't finish it. I found myself buying duplicates and this certainly has helped. I don't go anywhere without my list!!!

The software looks like a database that could be done in Microsoft Access--looks like the reports would be nice to have printed out in different formats. Excel works for me though right now.

I recently "finially" organized my sets. What I did is, using 'generic' white card stock stamped each set with one color ink, for example if 3 sets fit on 1 page there would be 3 different colors of ink used.

Then in pencil I write the name of the set.

Then I place the finished page in a sheet protector and into a 3 ring binder.

In a different section I have different pages for different occations, example: Birthday, Baby, Get Well, Merry Christmas, Spring, Fall, Winter, Summer, Wedding, Love, ABCs, wheels, Backgrounds & Borders, Words...

Then on those pages I have any stamps that are appropiate, it may be the whole set, it may be 1 or 2 from that stamp set. Again using different inks for each set per page.

So now, when I want to make let's say a birhday card, I flip to that page and "see" what sets I want to use. It really helps when you are looking for words, since some sets have some words and others are all words.

The other day my kids wanted to make a get well card for their grandpa and I flipped to the page and they pointed to the stamps they wanted. (Of course the picked 3 from 3 different sets!)

For my paper & ink I made a 'cheat sheet'. I have 1 page for each family, in ink using Alpha Builders I stamped each color, and stamped off each color, as well a punched piece of that card stock, which I versamarked in the corner so I would know what versamark looks like on each color.

Ok, I am tired all over again thinking about all that work! Well worth it though.

Let me know if you have questions or if the above makes no sense!

Toad,

That is the program I have! It is wonderful! Everything is about pre-loaded, you just input your inventory!

I love having a back-up copy and my Insurance carrier said this is an accepted replacement value tool.
