I just did one myself. It isn't the prettiest, by any means, but I'm pretty pleased with it. I went with a company called web.com - they provide hosting, as well as 'templates' for you to fill in. The hosting costs are very reasonable, too. I've had it up for close to a month now and I'm very pleased! I checked with a friend who does web design before I did this and he was shocked at what you got for the little amount of money.

I didn't want to go with a designer because I wasn't sure what I really wanted in a website - so I wanted the flexibility to do it myself. (Read: I didn't want to spend a fortune in consultations, nor did I want to wait for someone to do it.) I don't have any computer background, I don't know much code, but essentially, this company makes it like "websites for dummies".

Should you be interested, my website is www.createdfrompaper.com Good luck on your new venture - I hope it is a huge success!!
