Default Anyone ever tried this?

I just made a card for my dh for his birthday. I used a direct to paper technique and THEN smeared it a little with a cotton ball using a tiny bit of non acetone finger nail polish remover on it. It made the corners curl slightly and gave the metallic inks a somewhat "industrial" look. The polish remover was just sitting there after taking my nail polish off so I had to try it. Next, I'm trying a clorox wipe to see what that does.
Please note that I had to double snail adhesive it after it dried to get it to stick.
It's hard to see on a photo.
Definetly, not for scrapbooking!
