Got it! I don't think I'd keep it though -- it's the extra rubber/cling around the stamp images themselves and is left after you "punch" the pre-cut stamps out? Yep, I'd toss that.

But great to know what it's called!

I personally think it's incredibly brave to completely change your whole business format. There are soooo many stamp companies out there right now. I think as a stamp company owner, times have changed and maybe you need to find ways to stand out from the crowd. I just took a look at the catty and saw some old favorites and some new, soon to be favorites! Sigh....I guess I will be hunting down a consultant! LOL

Actually, that is part of the brilliance! That way when you have an "empty" spot you know you've got one on the table someplace that you need to find so it won't end up missing!

Will the images of the wood mounted stamps eventually be sold in the catalogues? There are a few that I've never bought and would be so upset if I could never have them.

Some were added to sets in the new catalog, but nowhere near all. She still has some wood mount inventory on the A Muse Artstamp website. If you don't see it in either of those places and you have to have them, I'd try former instructors for A Muse who may have them in their wood mount collections.

Good luck! Can I ask which images? I'm just curious.

I suppose you could possibly see some in future catalog releases. Don't really know.

Wow, of course I like it all because it's all EXACTLY LIKE STAMPIN UP! I mean even the sets are practically identical (Rock Star? The Perfect Blend? Life is a Song?). And if I were SU, I would be asking if 'we are all o.k. with this'? I mean the entire catalog, the layout, the packaging, the order of items, the color choices, everything is directly copied off of SU. Of course I like some of it, it's just surprising that it's so blatant, that's all.
Old A-muse was very different from SU...new catty I thought it looked just like a SU catalog. I noticed a sentiment that's about the same if not exact as one I have of SU. "Ice cream & presents and cake oh my!"
I love SU, so no problem!

Thank you Krystie. BTW, I LOVE your style and you are the main reason I fell in love with Amuse.

There are quite a few stamps but the one that I will desperately look for is Flutterby Flock.

Is everything so small? I like the grass die cut. WIsh SU would come out with that. And some great guy sets.

That is what I was wondering. Seems like the images are a bit tiny!

The Amuse images have always been scaled smaller because they do not use standard A2 cards. Their premade cards are smaller. Square cards used to measure 4 1/4 X 4 1/4, and the rectangular cards measured 3 1/4 X 5.

Yes, that was true, but the new catalog doesn't sell the notecards anymore, just 8.5x11 paper.

Over the last couple of years, A Muse started to expand the variety of their images. The newer images were larger, and they offered more styles in addition to the "cute" images they were always known for.

Some of the favorite older images were grouped into sets for the new catalog, they have new sentiments or supporting images added to them to round out the set. Those images are smaller in scale.

Overall, though, I wouldn't say the images are smaller than average.

If you look at the five most recent cards in my gallery, they're all from the new catalog and they're all full-size cards. The one called "Snail and Co." is an example of older images that made it into the new catalog.

Some images are just a bit different (i.e.rocket ship is smaller) but with that one the sentiment is placed with it so it gives the image a little different look. The other day I made a card w/old rocket ship and then made one with the new and I liked the new one much better!
