I received a cute little Halloween gum holder today from Gail W. It is so cute. I love it. Was that easy to do? That would be something to do for my kids classes. I dont have that punch though for the hole for the gum. Cute idea!
Thanks so much.

Cool Happy Mail

Oh Bonnie, you are right it's adorable. Thanks Gail W. Loved your note. Sorry to hear about the secretary & the little girl.

Laura O.........thanks for the lovely dragonfly card. LOVE that ribbon. Yes, you already know I'm a ribbon freak.

Carrie L.......That candy corn paper is tooooooo cute. Love the way you used it. And that little spider tag is adorable. If spiders can be adorable.

Cheri F.......Those are soooooooooo cute & colorful. Great job coloring. Love your little bows. I'm terrible at bows so I appreciate those who can.

WOW, what a great mail day. Tomorrow I pick up my girlfriend (former SU demo & the one who got me started scrap booking) at Indy airport. 3 of us are going craft shopping. Think I'll take chocolate. Just in case we need it.

Been busy making the s'more toppers & filling the bags. Ran out of graham crackers. One fell on the floor & Daisy ran off with it.
Hugs

Exclamation Good news and hello to everyone!

GUESS WHAT, LADIES? Doctor called and said the biopsy I had last week was NEGATIVE!!! I'm very relieved, and thanks for some of you who expressed good wishes. Also, we have had rain straight for 36 hours, so it's relieving our drought!
Laura O'Shea - Missed your birthday by a day--that's your birthday poem I hope it was a good one--must have ESP because found your card today and couldn't remember if I had thanked you, but then I remembered asking you if you used a CB embossing folder for the background!!!
Connie S. - Glad you liked my card and that a few of them have been received! I also have some large leftover plastic American flags I'm going to send you....
LAURAJEAN: OK, we have to exchange Halloween cards!!
Michelle: Take care of yourself and get over the flu soon--the rest of you go get your flu shots! Carol/IN: Whoo hoo!! Thanks so much for telling me Mike's is taking coupons for MS now! AND hope I didn't miss the sale at Creat.Xpress. Is the Sidekick good for something small to start with? I ordered $250 last night from Oriental Traders...am in trouble. --Those babies in Houston and New Zealand are just TOO CUTE!! And LOVE it that LouLou's toddler has to hold a stamp while he brushes his teeth! He has learned important values from his Mom early in life..heh, heh....
Got great websites for you: www.ClearBags.com has every clear ENVELOPE and bag you'd ever want.... www.kathykrafts.com has EVERYTHING and GREAT customer service!! www.paperosity.com has MILITARY 12 x 12 DP on clearance right now.
Sorry I missed everybody's birthday in October! Got to get off the phone and computer, and maybe I can make some more cards!!! DH is gone tonight. **May I ask that anyone who DOES NOT celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas indicate that, and perhaps it could be noted by a symbol or something in the data base? I vow this loving group of ladies are accepting of everyone--this is just so we will know not to send you that type of card because they are not holidays you celebrate.
Finally, love and prayers to all who have loved ones or are near the horrible CA fires, sick or in the hospital, or going through other personal difficulties. Hope Zippy's blood sugar stabalizes...for goodness sakes, keep him away from those GRAHAM CRACKERS!!!

Hi Bonnie, I am just sending out birthday cards each month... the list just got too big for me to keep up with and this way I only have to send just one months worth of birthday cards. Only hate that some on the list hasn't given out their birthdate. For those please just know that I wish you a Happy Birthday on your special day. Having said that, there are a few ladies on the list that still send me the Happy Mail for which I am truly thankful, so, Bonnie, I would not be mad AT ALL if you sent one of your beautiful cards!!! lol
Cheri, such great news on the test results!!! I am so glad...
For those of you in or near the fires in CA, you are in my prayers...
God bless

Anyone not getting a spreadsheet from me, just pm me and I will give you my private e-mail. You must have excel to open the spreadsheet. Lana sends me all the update and I forward it onto the group.

Hello to all! This will be my first, and definitely not the last, time I will be here. You all are so nice. I've been to some other sites, not at scs, and all some people want to do is complain. However! I have never been involved with a group of people who share my love of paper crafting!!!!!! I've been scrap booking for 4 years and have recently been introduced to SU!. I now love to make cards and have become a SU! demonstrator! Not too many, well hardly any people in my life appreciate the art of paper crafting. So it would be real nice to have a few pen pals. What a great idea. If someone, I don't know who you be, could get me hooked up here I would so much appreciate it. Thanks, Andi M.

Hello all and a shout out to Marcine ,

I was without internet for 5 whole minutes, it was the longest 5 minutes of my life LOL. I called my husband and he told me how to fix the problem.

Received three pieces of happy mail today,

Tammy S- The Halloween card is very cool.

Betti G- I love the purple card and with the lace background. Great idea using double scallops.

Carol M- The sympathy card is just beautiful. What stamp set is it?

Take care everyone, must go back to the mundane part of life. Someone has to clean this house and Zippy just doesn't feel up to cleaning .

Happy Stamping,

Dolores

Are you planning on taking pics at your son's football game?! Be sure and post them for us to see.

Happy mail today and all week. Let me catch up with the shoutouts. Thanks to Lana, Stephanie, Diane S., Melissa J., Phyllis B., Camie D., Laura O., Karan, Tammy S., Tara and Betti. So many ideas. How is everyone keeping their cards? I've about decided to use something like photo albums, the 8 1/2 x 11 size. So far when I receive multiple cards from one person, I've just rubberbanded them. Is that a word?

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hello penpals!

I've had a hectic week so I'm just acknowledging all the great mail now. Thanks to:
-Siobhan: for an adorable halloween card with Jack o Lanterns and lots of news in your letter!
-Tammy: for a lovely card with watercolored pumpkins and a letter of introduction
-Becca: for a really cute card with a 3-tier stack of treats on it...whose stamp is that? Love it! And a nice note. So glad your recovery from surgery is going well and that you are getting out and about.
-Queenoe: for an absolutely gorgeous fall card with aspen leaves, and a nice, long letter!

It is just great "meeting" and getting to know so many of you...I feel that I have so many new friends!

Have a great weekend, everyone, and stamp something!

Ok, I need some opinions on my Tea Party invitations. Please look at my gallery and let me know what else I need to add. I thought this would be a great place for some other ideas that I can use on it..It's for an 8yr old, and I made it in the colors of the Tea Room. Please let me know..Thanks!

I am so sorry I have not posted or gotten any cards out this past week.
In my defense, , my nephew and his wife had a new baby boy, which has taken up alot of time... and then I got sick and have been down for about 4 days. Hope to be up and running again today.... I will get cards out soon!

Good morning everyone! Brrrr! It's cold. Hopefully it'll warm up a bit so we can go to the pumpkin patch.

Hi Bonnie,

I love it! The cuttlebug pattern is perfect for it! How did you cut it...it looks so perfect.

I think it is great as-is, but if you want it fancier you could use a gold pen to make a rim on the cup...

Let us know what you decide!

Good Morning Ladies,
I've been up since 4:00 am. couldn't sleep so I sat at the kicthen table with a cup of coffee and made up some cards that I will be sending out today. It's been raining here in Mi. Were suppose to get thunder storms and the wind will be picking up later on. Guess we won't get the leaves raked up and burned.

Bonnie I checked out your tea party invites and there perfect. Myself I don't think you need to change a thing. They are so cute~!!!

Stacy I hope you get to feeling better, alot of people where I work at have been sick with the flu. I guess it's that time of the year. It's a bummer when your sick and you do not feel like doing anything. I know, we have all been there. So don't you worry.

Have a good day girls

Debbie,
That is a cute Idea about the gold trim around the cup. Hmmm didn't think of that. But it would set it off. Thats what I like about you girl's imputs, thats how we learn different things.

Have a great day Debbie.

Bonnie.... I think the cards are perfect just as they are. I know you get a little antsy, especially if you are getting paid to do them, that what you do needs to be overdone, but just remember 'less is more'. And for 8 yr olds I think this is prefect...!! Great job!! Its nice to know that little girls are still interested in Tea Parties!!! With all the stuff going on in todays world its nice to get back to basics!!!
God bless
Nyoka

I agree with Debbie on the gold hi-lites! You made it look just like a fancy tea-cup! Too cool!

Have fun with them!!

Hi Ladies!

I have missed everyone!

Went to a crop today and got some pages done...I need to finish some additional pages before I can do cards again!

Guess what? Yes, I bought a C-Bug!! Hopefully it is on its way to me now! My friend and I went in and bought them from the same place so we could get free shipping! What are friends for??!! I am so excited to receive it!!

Off I go to bed...we have to be up early for the Salmon Festival! I will have to post pictures...this is the one where you catch them with your bare hands!

Thanks to Lana, Diane and Linda for the awesome cards!!!

Have a great day, everyone!!

Hi Siobhan,

What time is it there? It was good to hear from you. My son is flying your way on Thursday...arriving in Osaka on Friday, and he'll be staying in Hikone. Mike and I are just a *little* envious...we hope to get to Japan some time! What a cool opportunity for a 13 yr. old.
