Default Any ideas for party invitation?

Hello,

My father in law asked me if I can do his birthday party invitations and of course I said yes. This will be next month so I need to start doing them now. Anyone have any great ideas for a party invitation for a man?

Thanks

I did my dad's 70th birthday invitations. I used 1/4 sheet of cardstock for a postcard type invitation but still mailed it in a regular envelope. I used black cardstock and then mounted on a piece of patterned paper leaving an 1/8" black border around the patterned paper. ( I used John Deere tractor paper since he's a farmer). Then I printed all the party information on vellum paper and cut it to the size of the patterned paper. I attached the vellum with two black eyelets at the top and black, wide organdy ribbon tied in a bow. Very simple and masculine but very sharp looking. If you want to stamp the background paper, use the deer, cars, vintage sets, golf, etc or maybe some of that brown pattern designer paper.
