Default another modge podge question

I am making an altered clipboard as a gift and started a thread asking how to finish it. I got lots of answers - thanks! Now that I bought the MP, I have another question that I need advice and help with. I bought the satin finish MP and it says that to avoid "tackiness" I should seal the MP with a spray or brush on finish. Since the clipboard will be used for writing on, I surely want to avoid tackiness! Should I seal it with another product or let it alone?

A spray varnish will do the job in a snap. If you want to use a brush-on sealer, make sure it's an acrylic varnish.

Acrylic varnishes dry to a much harder finish than Mod Podge and polymer mediums.

I'm glad you asked this question because I had no idea Modge Podge needed another sealer on top of it, either. It's been years... probably ten... since I've used the stuff, but I just bought some on Friday to try again.
