Another Beate?!?!
Watching the ABC morning news here in Chicagoland, the top story was the big 12" snowstorm (hello, it's January in Chicago!!) and one of the people interviewed was named BEATE Bierman. She had a lovely accent, too. But SCS has the one and only, original Beate!! (I wonder if the "other" Beate stamps??)

Apparently there is a female wrestler from Germany named Britta Ward hwo does very low-profile (read no glamour and lots if mullets) wrestling and my husband said he was going to buy the video to irritate me! LOL

my kids were playing around online one day and typing everyones first name as a web site to see if it would be a real web site or not. well, when they typed Dorinda.com,  I quickly got to the monitor and shut it off, it was an adult web site.....and no it is not mine

Well, I noticed a "Beate" the other day in Take Ten 3. I thought "wow, how unusual", then noticed she was listed as being from Germany. So that explained it  __________________

If you ever went to www.britta.com -- that is a friend of mine. Her website is a hoot. She is waay into costuming and Halloween. I'm in there once or twice in her Halloween party photos.
She also pronounces her name Breee-ta, though I know most people with the name say Brih-ta.

I admit, Judy, I've sent emails to friends with the same name, saying "Judy, Judy, Judy".
So after all this, I had to google my name. And thank goodness for Daven, because the very first item that comes up every time is the Bio from the Dirty Dozen design team. Otherwise, my name is usually relegated to the genealogy genre, and I don't like seeing "Marcia Howell, died ...". Ick!
But there is another Marcia Howell in the same small town I live in! We go to the same dentist, hair stylist, car repair shop, and doctor. How weird is that?! __________________
