Since being introduced to this site I am as addictd to it as I am to stamping/crafting! I feel compelled to check in every hour or so just to view new uploads, see what's being offered in the classifieds, check out new techniques. I keep going to bed later and later anticipating new uploads. Fitting in stamping time has become difficult. No where else on the internet is there such a great site for SU samples. In fact I had been ignoring alot of my sets because they are not as artsy/eclectic as some of my other stamps...but now all I want to stamp with is SU so I can show off my creations. Friends at work think my cards and crafts are neat (some don't get it cuz of the time and money put into this--but they all are married with kids, on tight budgets-as for me I'm single and do whatever I please!!!) but this audience truely appreciates everything. I need to thank my demo again for hooking me up to this site....Shonda if you see this it's all your fault I can't get my laundry done!!!!!!
Kiki - I totally know what you mean. I just got back from being out of town and am exhausted, but I had to check out what I missed. I can't go very long without feeling withdraw!! I usually am on several times a day.
I am married with kids and they think I am nuts, but at least they do appreciate my cards. Sandy
Oh yes, look at the number of posts that I have had since the 3rd!!!! I love this site. Not only is it wonderful for ideas but it is neat to have a supportive audience!
Hugs & SMILES
Yes I do see  what a monster I created but at least I am not alone. I have been at work for 12 hrs today and every spare minute I get I am checking in on this site. But you have created some awesome projects and what better products to use than SU :P
You mean there might be something wrong with us who HAVE to come and check several times an HOUR if not have it up on the computer ALL day just waiting for new stuff??!
Could anybody else be as bad as you? Hmmmm. . . I can think of several people who resemble that remark! If you feel obsessed, you are SO in the right place!
First thing I do when I wake up in the morning is check this site. Last thing I do before bed is check the site. First thing at work.... check the site..... I even think about this site in my meetings at work!
Yes it is up on my computer all day long on the weekends and every night of the week...I am so glad there are others out there. I don't feel alone now. Thanks for making me feel better.
You're only a freak if we are all freaks. I'm am one of those people that Jenn mentioned that keeps it up on the computer all day long and checks it routinely (lol) as I walk by. I sure get my exercise going up and down the stairs! It's not always easy thinking of another excuse to walk by the computer, but I'm getting pretty good at coming up with stuff! LOL!
So don't worry, you are among friends--and other addicts! Lana
This site is addictive! If it ever crashes, there'll be thousands of us seeking professional help! A twelve step program for recovering stampers?!! Can't you just see it?!

O.K. It's so good to know that I'm not the only one addicted to this site!! I absolutely love it and check it all the time! Many times a day!! My computer is in my stamping room so I practically live in this room! This site has the most SU! artwork of any site I've ever seen. I think a big reason for that is the feedback option! This can be very addicting!! I want to share everything to see what feedback comes back! It's awesome and now I don't have to go to the desperate measures of asking my 6 y/o DD.......how does this look? what about this color combo? Hee-hee!
O.K. I think I'm the worst! You won't believe what I did! We have company in town and were going out to eat last night, as everyone was gettinginto the cars, I told my DH I had to use the restroom, came back in and checked for new posts/cards! Well, I got caught!! But I didn't care b/c I got a glimpse of new cards anyway!
That is bad!! I have had to limit myself to twice a day. Of course that doesn't include the 400 other times I check. lol We only have one phone line so I must learn to behave and learn to stay up all nite.

 I am certain that I should be able to view the cards and forums without the interuptions for father's day calls. How long has it taken me to see some of the posts. toooolong.
Love viewing posts and cards several times a day. The amount I am on is a secret.
Happy Father's day to all you women that care for your children or others. grammie
 Kiki, you are so right on! If I weren't a stamper, with a "substance" problem (read...gotta stamp, gotta stamp), I wouldn't have just had my 21 year-old daughter step in and tell me, "Mommy, you really need to go to bed!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I have orientation for a new job tomorrow, but don't have to be there till 0800 vs the usual 0700! I just HAD to read a few more posts!
I see I am in good company!

ooooh my 21-yr old thinks I'm crazy too! until her friend came over and she was into scrapbooking and so I showed her some of my catalogs and this website.....hahaha--got another addicted! ;)
I'm so glad that everyone else is on here so much and its not just me. I have friends who stamp, but they aren't as addicted to this site as I am. Only my friend Anita who just moved away! sigh.
I have this site as my homepage and I'm always getting distracted from the work I have to do. I'll tell myself I'll just check the gallery once and then get to my work. Before I know it, I've logged off the computer without doing any of my work.
I am so bad that I start pacing when my husband is on the computer. Come one....he has one at work. What does he need to block mine in the evening. LOL
I am seriously obsessed. I am with Jenn on the hourly thing. LOL But it's all good. I have found such great friends here....I got to come and check and see what they are up to.
It's me. My more "normal" look. The other photo was taken in Tulsa while I was on the Stampin' Up! high. Okay....so maybe I do look like the first picture more often then I thought....LOL
And we all know that hourly is really stretching it, Beate. That's what we tell ourselves so we don't feel obsessive. I mean, have you clicked on forums, and looked at the bottom to see who's online? Notice any familiar names? This site is my guilty pleasure! I don't smoke or drink. . . I stamp and try to absorb allll that I can when I can't get my stamps dirty! Yes, we are obsessed, but freaks? Never!
And I thought I was the only one that checked the bottom of the forum page to see who is on.....When I get embarassed at the amount of time I am on here, I change my profile to to keep hidden. Just like an alcoholic that hides their bottles... however, this is the best disease ever, for which I do not want to go into recovery!!!!
Oh dear - I guess I've just been caught! Didn't realize that you were checking out which of us are so addicted we can't help ourselves. I too have this site up most of the day so that when I get a chance I can "sneak a peek". I'll admit I even have two computers - in two different rooms and a lot of times I actually have both "tuned in". I truly am a part of the "twelve step" program - toooo funny
Except I should be doing my family's laundry! LOL...
How many times can kid's turn their underwear inside out and wear it?
Do you know about shirts and shorts? JUST KIDDING!
My new bedtime is midnight and then I need a nap the next day. LOL
I've turned into one stampin monster, for sure!
I LOVE the galleries here and that they're assessible early in the wee hours of the morning, unlike some of my friend's who stamp with me. LOL
Glad you found this place. I never have to worry about running out of ideas of things to stamp when I can get my hands on a sample in the gallery or read about a technique that's been discussed here.
Have fun!
Cindy

Here I'm supposed to be on vacation but my lovely husband brought our laptop with us supposedly to have the kids watch DVDs while we're traveling in the car! Hallelujah! Which means I get to check in several times a day and see what new and wonderful things people have posted and get my daily laugh from Darth Debby! It's a good thing we have a laptop because I have taken over our other computer at home and my husband is now always having to use the laptop. Hee hee! But he doesn't seem to mind (yet). Call me crazy, addicted, whatever you want - but I'm HAPPY!
I cannot get enough of this site either. I know you all have been there, the first thing I do when I get up go and turn on the computer to see what is going on and at night before bed I always have to give one last check (even though I've been on and off all day). I do have to go to a FT job but I always make sure I check in throughout the day and then when I get home my dh and I compete over who gets the computer. Next week I'm going to be out of town without a computer for a week! What will I do?!?!?!? I LOVE THIS SITE!!! Can I make it a whole week without it?
