They peel off and then use goo gone or something like that to get the sticky stuff off. It is pretty sticky stuff, but it will come off with a little rubbing!

I just put my paper right over top of the label. It doesn't show. Hope that helps.

I am making four of these for my oldest nieces and nephew this year for Christmas. I have found that the lables come off along with almost all of the glue AFTER they have been washed in the dishwasher. The first ones I tried taking the label off before putting them in the dishwasher and there was a lot of glue left.

I did wrap designer paper around the glass and it did cover all of the remaining glue.

Have fun!

I used some alcohol to get the residue off, it makes it pill up and roll off.

After I peel of the label - I just use my brillo pad in the sink and a light scrub and the residue comes right off!

I soak them for about an hour in HOT soapy water and the label and glue peels straight off.
