I still use the mono adhesive. Haven't had a problem with anything coming apart. I do use a lot too. I also use the mono multi and 2 way for some items but I still have quite a few mono adhesive refills left so I still use it.

I marked "glue in tubes", but I use Mono Multi glue and Scotch Quick dry adhesive. If I someday can justify the initial cost, I'll buy an ATG gun. But for all my classes, I need multiple adhesives for each table.
Oh, I forgot to add that I use these because they actually stick for me, which Mono never did. And because they ar eso cost effective--my glue cost per card is 2 cents. Yup. 2 cents.
I've been using We R Memory Keepers Tabs. They're like hermafix but stickier. I'm not sure it's the most cost effective option but it's what I prefer. I'm sure some liquid glues are cheaper but I make a mess with liquid glue and it makes me angry. Tabs keep me happy
Mono Multi for me for CS, Duck Tape Runner for the thinner patterned paper. Cost effective and easily obtainable (I can get the Mono at Meijer's and I can get the tape runners at WalMart! No need to wait to order them from anywhere !) Plus they both seem to stick the best for what they do!
Double-sided tape for nearly everything - mostly because it works the best, but occasionally out of habit as I realise afterwards that something else would have worked better.
I use Mono. I love the ease of use. And I have a lot of refills left and haven't had a problem with it coming apart. But like Bagpuss I sometimes realize that another adheasive would have been a better choice for what I'm working on at the time.

I'm lazy...I use my Zyron for almost everything...the permanent refills. I have 2 different sizes. If not...I will use my Trio professional adhesive applicator.

I've always used mono until I ran out, so now I use whatever I happen to have on hand (or whatever I find first in my mess of a "craft" room). I did use the mono multi glue for my Christmas cards and that worked pretty well. It was the first time I had used it and it takes a bit to learn how much to squeeze out, but everything stuck together as it should.
I use the 3L clear mounting squares in the Click 'n Stick box. They really stick and they're cost effective. Plus I like that the whole thing is disposable -- no messing around with refills. I use to love the Herma tabs before EK bought 'em out . . . now they just don't stick.
I voted for tape. I use the Wal-mart version of the mono-adhesive permanent tape runner. It's always worked for me. If I want to make sure the layer stays completely flat, doesn't shift - I use my xyron.
I voted for Roller. I used Stampin' Up! SNAIL adhesive and I love it because it's quick, easy and refills are also a snap to put in. For years I used double-sided tape (DST) because that's what 99% of stampers in Australia use but after trying SNAIL I just can't go back to DST, I just can't be bothered cutting off the required amount then peeling off the back. LOL. Makes me sound lazy doesn't it?

I really like these, too. The 3L squares with the little blue tabs are even more cost effective (more per box), although they aren't quite as convenient and quick to use. Once last summer I found them on sale for $1.42 a for a box of 500, so I stocked up big time.
I didn't vote, but I use 3M double sided tape, Wacky Tack and Yes! Glue. I've never tried the Mono, etc. I love the stickability of Yes! glue, it really holds anything to anything. I've used a small paint brush for tight areas but for the most part, just my finger which is surprisingly easy to control. Yep, I never grew out of makin' mud pies! Stormy

I like the red duck tape roller, it's cheapest 'cause I use a lot!! I am having trouble finding it lately at a good price, though, if I have to switch, I will use mono adhesive refills!

I use the rollers, BUT they don't hold well on the pearlescent paper. I found out a couple years ago when my christmas cards fell apart when people took them out of the envelopes! So I use double stick tape for the fancy paper.
I thought I was a 3M double sided tape junkie until I made my Christmas cards this year. SU! glue stick was way faster and it worked like a charm. Even used it on my altered journal project. Love it!
Which do you prefer for putting your layers together? Also do you choose this because it works best, is cost effective, or simply out of habit?
I really can't vote on your poll...Cause I use three different types of Adhesives when making a card. Double Stick tape, Mono Multi Glue, and Foam Mounting Tape.
