Default Acrylic blocks

Does anyone have a suggestion for the least expensive place to buy a large (5x6) acrylic block and acrylic blocks in general? Any suggestions appreciated!

We have a plastics company in my town. I go there and get their plexiglass scraps--somtimes for free! It comes in different thicknesses and is crystal clear. I have my dad cut them--and they're not fancy but very inexpensive.

I think TAC The Angel Company sells them. Or try www.sundayint.com.

I have seen acrylic blocks listed on ebay in several sizes. However I am not sure how the price compares to if you buy them directly from stamp companies that sell them such as CTMH and TAC ??

The Angel Company (TAC) is the cheapest place I've ever found them. I've seen the same brands in stores for more. Ours aren't contoured like CTMH, but the price is right! :-)

I just bought one at Michaels using a 40% coupon. I've used lots of different types of these over the years. Way back when the ONLY place you could find these was at stamp conventions; my first set was GLASS if you can believe it, lol!

Anyway....this one I got at Michaels is hands down the BEST I've ever used. Lightweight, hour-glass shaped for easy holding, and it has a LINE in it to help with getting phrases on straight. I think they might be Inkadinkadoo? Not sure, but you can buy singles or sets. And CHEAP.

You can order one from TAC in 3X5 for $4.50 or a 4 3/4 X 5 for $6.00 plus shipping and handling. There are also sets that have a larger block plus smaller ones. If you want me info. PM me. or check out theanglecompany.net

Purple onion designs is GREAT too for buying those acrylic blocks AND unmounted rubber stamps to use on the blocks.
