Default Accordian Book-HELP!!

I am finishing my first accordian book. I have to say, I love it...and if it weren't going to my sweet daughter, I would never be able to give it away!!
Here's my question, How to you tie it shut? Do you take a length of ribbon, attach it to the back somehow, then bring both ends around the front to tie it?
I have looked closely at all the samples in the gallery, and Beate's tutorial, and can't figure out how it's done...
Thanks for the help!

I have not made one , but one was sent to me . The ribbon on it was attached to the back piece before the inside of the card was attached to the back piece. Then it ties in the front. If you have already put the pieces together ,you could just do the ribbon the way you had mentioned. Then on the next one try it this way. Hope this helps !

Here is a link to the instructions that Jenn had posted:

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...pic.php?t=1608

The part about the ribbon says:

2. Place the two covers facedown and butt them together. Hold lengths of ribbons together and fold them in half to find the center. Line up the center of the ribbons with the line where the two covers butt and adhere the ribbons to the backs of the covers. Cut two 4 ¼? squares of card stock and adhere one to each cover, covering the ribbons.

I have to try this. I've seen such beautiful posts!
