CHF has some classic cars from the 50's. Here's a link: http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/.../cPath/376_419

I just did this same search yesterday using "vintage rubber stamps" and "retro rubber stamps" with Google. I didn't find quite what I was looking for (mix between 50's and art deco) but I did find lots of cool things. Check
www.hotpotatoes.com for some 50's things.

Lots of wild and crazy things at www.sideshowstamps.com

They even have the famous Leg Lamp Stamp set. (not one of my best cards, but you get the picture)

Default Links to Websites

Here are some websites I have found. I know I have more if I can just find them back. I have so many rubber stamps companies in my favorites that I can't find specific stamps other than ones I've saved.

Rubber Nation - Retro People

Alpha Stamps - Retro Santas

Stampin D'Amour all vintage stamps

I'm surprised no one mentioned one of our member companies, Crafty Secrets:

http://www.clearartstamps.com/

They have some great clear retro stamps!

Another company to check out is Cat's Pajamas:

This one is very unusual -- 100 Proof Press
http://www.100proofpress.com/

The Web site is a little difficult for me to use -- only a few images on a page at a time, but there are lovely things if you dig for them.

I've got a 1950s lady -- head and shoulders -- holding a piece of mail that I stamp on the back of my cards with my name and date when I give them to family members (not selling as I don't konw their angel policy.

Cornish Heritage Farms also has a line of stamps from Saturday Evening Post with Norman Rockwell images, as well as their Elvis Presley line.

I know this is a very old thread, but has some good information on vintage stamps I was looking for. I like the 50's style. How fun. I was also looking for vintage clear stamps too.

How sad...I followed the Cornish Heritage Farms link, only to find out they are out of business. :(
