I don't know if this has been posted here or not but Ribbons and Bows Oh My! is have a 20% off sale on their solid grossgrain ribbon through 1/7! They have 88 colors to choose from and a 5 yd role of 3/8" wide ribbon is on sale for 72 cents right now. Shipping is very reasonable. I just ordered 18 rolls, shipping was $2.95.
Anyone try to match up some of the incolor offerings to the ribbon on their color chart? I was wondering what might be close to some of the new colors. ;)

LOVE www.******************.com Family run business, great people, AWESOME prices even without a sale! I must go order! Check out the gingham stuff too. It is BEAUTIFUL on cards and scrapbook pages and comes in SOOOOO MANY colors! I love the black and white and brown and tan...matches everything.

I have never purchased any of my ribbon through this company. They have some very pretty ribbon. Could someone please tell me if the ribbon comes on a cardboard spool or is it shipped loosely?

I can only speak about the 100 yard sized. That comes on a spool.
I was wondering if any of the TAC demos have recommendations on colors? I am holding up my Palette ink chart and these look very promising! I have 4 already in my basket but at this price (I'm going with the 3/8" for 5 yards) I can get more, more, more!! :grin:
"Oh my" is right. Won't those lovely ribbons look just great with those beautiful scalloped tags made with those punches that another enabler told us were on sale at JoANNs.com!!
Chris, I didn't even think of matching the ribbon up to my Palette colors. LOL Sorry, I'm no help on that one!
Someone asked about spools - I've only ordered the 5yd size and they are NOT on cardboard spools. They are wound up in a circle though, if that makes sense. You can stick a straigh pin through it where the end is to keep it from unwinding.
Just got the email that my 18 rolls have been shipped! WOO HOO!!!!!
nooooooooooooooooooo...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sitting here looking, drooling, going "Wow! Wow!" I'm pretty much in a nice ribbon wasteland here...
I have ribbon from R&BOM.... I keep the little rolled up ribbons in an empty plastic box from stamps and this works great... you can organize them by color families this way.
Chris--Some gals over at ASB have ordered the charts. They said we can ask them questions once their charts are in. Why not hop on over and ask away?!?! ;-)

Well, I've only ordered the 3/8" because it comes in 5 yd rolls. So I guess, you could start with that and if you find a color you really like, then consider the 1/4" 100 yd rolls. Just a thought.
But it just depends on your individual crafting style. I like pink/brown so I bought shades of those. I also like the darker/muted type colors as opposed to brights. So those are the types of colors I go for most of the time on the ribbon.
i USE my old fashioned clothes pins to hold my loose ribbon and then dump them in a huge glass container that way I just pull out whichever color I need. REally user friendly, I love that system. HTH and thanks for the heads up on this AWESOME ribbon!!!
I would also love to hear what matches up with SU colors....although yesterday I ordered a ton of the 3/8" spools. A girl can never have enough ribbon....the sale ends on Sunday so we still have time to order more....does anyone know the SU color conversion? Pretty Please??!!!
