Anyone use a Zip-e-Mate?

I'm considering the purchase of an AccuCut Zip-e-Mate and am looking for opinions from others who have used one. I'm specifically interested in using it for dry embossing Lasting Impressions brass stencils. Does it make a CLEAR deep impression? Are you happy with your machine? Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I have looked at several online stores selling Zip-e-mate. It looks like you would have to use their own brand of dies with the machine. They are called Zip-E-Snaps and have two parts -- one part has the cutout image the other part is an exact match that fits and presses the cutout.
So, a brass stencil will still have to be done by hand, not machine.

You can use brass stencils with the Zip'e Mate. I use one in mine when I first bought it and it looked really nice. You can also use other dies with this machine also...Qucikutz, Sizzix, Sizzletts. It's a great machine!

You can also use Sizzix dies in the Zip E Mate. You will need to purchase the correct platforms that are for them.

you can use other embossing templates in the zipemate..along with other dies too...you just have to have the right platforms for them. It embosses really well...nice impression

You can definitely use the brass stencils in the zipemate. You can check out this site to learn how to use other dies in the machine too.

I'm actually selling mine; if you're interested. I'm including all the platforms you need to use stencils and other dies. The only thing you'd need to buy is a new cutting mat.

I'm selling it because I desperately need the $ since I'm going to school and dd is now going to preschool. Otherwise, I'd keep it cause i love it so much.
