Yep, you're right. Blogging is very time consuming! Just have fun with it and don't worry about the traffic. I promise that it will come in time. I really enjoy your blog. I hope you don't feel the pressure and just make cards to share. I have been through the stage you are going through and I just decided to step back and chill about it. Posting every day did not increase my chance to get picked for a design team. I just decided that I was going to blog because I enjoy talking to myself and sharing my art. I have yet to get "discovered" as an artist but it doesn't really matter anymore to me.
Hope you get to a comfortable point on your blogging journey.
I just found this thread and missed the OP, but I'm sorry to hear you were having negative feelings about your blog, Denise. :( I hope it is a very fun and relaxing project for as long as you desire to maintain it!
OK, donning flame proof suit...but I think this thread is an example of why the edit button was taken away for so long...
It's OK to post something negative! We will all have a pity party and eat some chocolate...so it's all good! I just don't want the edit button to go away again!
Anyway, have fun with your blog and update it for YOU! I use mine as a moment in time scrapbook. Many times, I will take a blog entry and use the actual journaling from the blog as my journaling for a page since I am SO far behind in my scrapping.

I've "discovered" you Robyn;) I missed your OP too...although I love visiting blogs to see what is "new" I certainly don't expect something everyday...yours is great Denise, you don't have anything to worry about
Yes, you are right! I should not have deleted that post. The edit button is there to correct spelling mistakes or sentence structure. I apologize. I won't be doing that again! I don't want the edit button to go away either! Thanks for the perspective. All of you!
I started blogging, and I have no idea if anyone has ever visited my blog, and now that i'm thinking about it, maybe that is a good thing since i don't know how to put in the posts or the pictures, there is no rhyme or reason to my blog. (my picture is like 8 x 10 and i can't figure out how to make it smaller! lol ) I don't post every day...sometimes i have nothing new to say....or nothing new to show. I think that i need a blog lesson from someone...but anyway, i agree with the others, sometimes it's nice to just talk to yourself...show your art...after all we are creating for ourselves, right? i know that's what i'm doing with it anyway...didn't mean to hyjack this post...sorry!
I had been saying that there are a lot of blogs out there and everyone cannot possibly read all of them, including mine! I am simply not beening patient enough. After all, I justed started! I guess I was wondering why am I am blogging if I am posting and talking to a few people and cyberspace. If I am to do that, I must really want to do it for myself first.
Then I mentioned that it IS time consuming. As Robyn mentioned as well. Although I am getting faster at Photoshop and writing the posts. I'm in a learning curve and right now, I guess I want to be in grade 12 and not grade 1!
I am stepping back and not putting pressure on myself to have a card 3 or 4 times a week. This will help me enjoy my blog more. And if my traffic disappears, then it disappears. I must remember who I am doing this for!

Oh gosh, I hadnt posted to my blog since Sept. 18th until today, it's no biggie. I am just doing it for me just like my gallery is for me, it's all about me...oops sorry got distracted;)
No, really your blog is really nice, I have visited a few times and no one is worrying if you post every day or not, they'll come back if they want to either way
Keep it up.
You girls are sooo nice. I really wasn't looking for any pats on the back or sympathy, but you were empathetic anyways. I'm feeling kinda embarassed. Thank you, though! Like I said, toooo nice.!
That's why I had deleted the original post (but then realized after, I should not have....that's not what the edit button is for). It was such a "pity party" post and I thought to myself, "get a grip". It's just a blog!
Just have fun, Denise! I enjoy reading your funny posts very much!! And yes, we're just cyber-friends, but I have found more great friends here and through blogging than I can count!
I read so many blogs that I can't even keep up with those who post every day. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. I know I can't post every day. More power to those who can. They amaze me. But I don't stress over it.
