Default You know your addicted when....

...you apply stamping terms to eating a sandwich.

I was eating a buffalo chicken sandwich and dipping it in ranch dressing. I dipped the sandwich in and got a bit too much dressing for my taste. So to fix this I simply "stamped off" on the plate. And that's exactly how it went thru my mind. "Hmmm, too much. I'll just stamp off some of the excess." This was a cute moment in an otherwise lousy day. Feel free to share your moments.

We are a strange, but creative lot! I so do want Purpledragon does with clothes, purses, etc. Sometimes I wish I could shut it off! It is such an addiction, but at least I am not hurting anyone or making society lousier by my habit. As Martha would say, "It's a good thing!"

I can relate to the trying to buy a gift to match my card. I need to go to a 1 year boy's birthday party this weekend and made a card from Prehistoric Party. I was trying to find a dinosaur toy to go with it

I took the Color Coach with me to the nursery this Spring when we picked out our flowers for the yard.

I look at patterns all over the place and imagine using them as BG for cards. Building awnings, paper food containers, etc. Sick minds think alike.

I was watching a Mary Kay demonstration this past weekend and when she was blending the eye shadows and choosing which shades, I thought that it was a lot like what I do when I am trying to distress something. I don't think that's a concept Mary Kay will run with, though. "Distress your face with MK!"

I was talking with a friend yesterday and she was still in her scrubs from work. I pulled out a notebook and started sketching and writing down the colors in her shirt. She didn't know what I was doing but another friend who was there said, "She sees a card!" Some people know me so well!

Heehee! One time in the car I had Lydia dig out a scrap of paper and a pen and started dictating the color combos I was seeing on the houses we passed. I get a lot of ideas from the buildings in the Savannah historic district!

please don't call them smile wrinkles or laugh lines... the are "positive attitude indicators"! and yes you are totally addicted when your friends bring you bits of junk (candy wrappers and pop tops) so you can put them on a card!!!

at one of our stamping get-togethers, my friend was sitting across the table from me. i looked up from my stamping and noticed her sweatshirt. i didn't think "gee, what a cute shirt". i thought "gee, wouldn't that make a neat card!" i made a whole line of notecards from that sweatshirt.
