Default Yikes! Need quick help with choices!!!

I have a monthly stamping meeting tonight and I'm soooo torn between buying a set of Craft spots or a set of Hodgepodge Hardware!! Or I could buy Hodgepodge Hardware and start buying Craft pads...
I just CAN'T decide, so I'm wondering if any of you can please give me your opinions on which is the best choice? My budget is very limited 99% of the time!

Do you have the classic pads or classic spots? Do you scrapbook? Do you have most of the colors in either craft or classic pads? Would you "hoard" the hodgepodge (ie--only send out in very special cards) or use it often? I have lots of craft and classic pads (but not in the same colors--started buying only the classic, decided wanted to use in scrapbook, so now any new color I buy is in the craft pad. I did buy one set of craft spots when SU had the 25% off. I didn't have any of the new colors and wanted a few other in the regal family. So , I bought the regal spots. Sorry, not much help in making your decision.

I am missing about 4 classic pads, simply because I bought two color families before the new ones came out...
I don't scrapbook now, but am planning on getting into it within a year or two...
I would probably hoard the hodgepodge, as I make two of each card -- one to send out, and one for my portfolio, but I've seen so many beautiful things done with it!
Thank you for giving me some things to think about!

I'd go with the craft spots. I have all the families and it's great having access to all the colors. They don't take up much room either.

OK, executive decision, lol! Get the 4 pads you are missing and the hodgepodge hardware. you may as well complete your collection of classic pads. You can get the same color from other sources than craft pads... either with markers, reinkers, classic pads, etc. You can't get the look of the hardware any other way but with the hardware. Buy it, get it out of your system, and then start tackling the craft spots.

I love spending other people's money.........

I LOVE my copper hardware! Not thrilled with my craft spots. I love craft ink - but think it's far more valuable in the big pads. The spots just don't last long enough. But the hardware - well - there's endless possibilities! I personally picked copper because I like browns. But, I think the pewter is the most versatile colour.

Copper & Pewter are the ones I use most and the difference is very subtle.
