Default Xyron 150?

Hi everyone,

I "shouted" myself a xyron 150 yesterday since they were 20 per cent off at my local store. Anyways, they come with a permanent adhesive cartridge already, so I grabbed what I thought was the same refill off the shelf just to have as a spare. But looking at it all this morning I have discovered that the refill I grabbed was a repositionable one!!!!!!!!!!! Can I still use that type of cartridge for my cardmaking and adhering ribbon ect or do I really need to drive alllllllll the way back and try to exchange it??

Any advice much appreciated!

Karen

Well, I can't advise you, but I will say that I never use anything but the permanent.

You can use it...but I don't like mine. It's not as sticky and you can see more of the adhesive. I'd take it back and grab the permanent if you want the better of the two.

The permanent is repositionable for a while--a week or so.

Default xyron 150

I agree...you will be happier if you take it back and exchange it...
the 250 is neat too..but really want the 510 or 900 with laminating ability too...

I agree. You should exchange it if you want it to stick better and stay on.
