Write Me A Memory

Okay....so I have been debating for a while about getting one of these. Anyone that can enlighten me about them? I know I have a whole bunch of fonts already in my computer, but I see these CD's used all the time in examples posted here and at SU! TIA

me too!

I'll be really interested to know what folks say about these. Having word processing programs (like Word), I just haven't been able to justify buying one, so I'd like to know what all you can do and why you like it and why its better than just using MS word, etc...

I have the first one & use it for my scrapbooks. You are basically just buying the font. So if you like the font it is worth it. Once you load the cd onto your computer the fonts are in your word program just like all the other fonts you already have. Some people say they can get fonts for free & therefore don't buy these. So I guess it all depends how much you like the fonts. But I like the handwritten look of these. :)

I'm with Carebear350. I like the handwritten look of the fonts. I use them all the time. And she's right, it's just the fonts not a word processing program or a journaling program.

I have both CDs and I use them when I want something specific on the inside of a card. I use a template from Word, type what I want in the chosen font, then run my cs through my printer.

Thanks for all of your helpful responses! I do like the handwritten look of the fonts, so I will probably get at least one. It's great to have such helpful friends here! :)
