If you wanted to mail something First class, and it weighs more than 12 oz ( I think...) it becomes classifed as Priority mail.....up to an amount over a pound....a flat rate....$4.05. What bugs me about some sellers...is how they grossly over charge you on shipping....buyers should really compare shipping costs on similar auctions....a small handling fee is ok, I think, to cover costs of packaging and the like...but some get really carried away.

As long as buyers know what shipping time frame to expect before they bid, I have never had a problem. Even if she didn't know, I would not leave negative feedback in the OP's situation. You never know what may have delayed the shipping on the seller's end. I've had to beg a buyer for mercy before because I forgot to mail out their purchase, or I was sick and couldn't make it to the p.o. Both people were very understanding so I give others the same consideration and benefit of the doubt. However, if they seem to have a feedback history stating slow shipping, etc., then caveat emptor!
