Someone asked about this is another group and it sparked my interest. But I haven't found any lists yet. I am an avid cross stitcher and have tons of thread, so I would like to find this.

Thanks for posting this (and for the doc...much easier to have!). I use to cross stitch all the time but stopped when my daughter was born. I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of all the dmc thread I have but never thought about using for anything else! Now I have another use for it! Yippee!!! Thanks!
So, do you think demos can use DMC floss for workshops?? That would be so cool - you could braid a couple different colors together for a custom-made fiber embellishment!
Thanks for the incredible list. I cross stitch and 4 of my friends have given me all of their cross stitching supplies because they just don't have time or the eyesight to do it anymore. Thanks so much!
As far as using for classes, why not? There are things that SU doesn't have that is used all the time. Such as denatured alcohol, etc. I've been using it for a long time, but then I haven't been a demo in a while and didn't have the urgency to keep it strictly SU. Just my "not so humble" opinion.

Ditto!
Can't wait to try this-- something new! Should be FUN!
