will post office allow this?
they are closed now and I will double check with them tomorrow, but will they allow this envie with the stamp on it? anybody else done it? my daughter wants this font, its some kind of antique font, I think its rather dull, looks great on the invite with the lace and twine. so I thought maybe this stamp as there is a bit of that on a tag on the invite.
I am not printing up 130 without postal confirmation, but I was wondering if anyone else has experience with this.

I have mailed and received plenty of envelopes with way more stamping on them than this and never paid extra postage or had postage due.

Wouldn't be a problem in Australia - it doesn't interfere with anything the post office needs - address or their stamp.
We can buy envelopes from the post office here that have pictures and borders on them already.

Go for it Lori! I bet you are glad the wedding invites are done. Hopefully you have a bit less stress these days.
Blessings

amber,
well almost done. the belly bands have to be slid on and twine wrapped around. that atg was amazing. Anthony (the groom) was tutored in the fine art of atg and he did all the mats, we had an assembly line. i will post pics of the final outcome. the bride has been of no help. she is in job interviews in two different states, neither of them this one and when she is her she is waiting tables 12 hours a day, so that she has money for her cobra insurance. and prior to that she lived in a different state yet. the groom and i have made lots and lots of bride decisions, we text her pics and say this or that. i thought i would have her this long weekend but a church is flying her out on the 4th. i guess we will know what state by next weekend.

Oh My Goodness. When my kids were younger, they would receive bday card envelopes plastered with stickers front and back!
I would also let them stamp Christmas stamps all over the envelopes when they were younger.
So.....I say Go FoR It! That stamp Is Beautiful!!!!!

Thank goodness for text. I remember sorting out my wedding decisions by airmail and international calls every other week!!! TBH sounds like she has a keeper!

I stamp my envelopes all the time, and think the one you picked looks elegant. The bride and groom are very lucky to have all the help (and love) you are giving them.
Enjoy the big day!

Wonder how much it would be to mail the "cake" - may help sales if you provide that information too.
ETA - found an ETSY listing for faux cake that says hers mail for $2 in the US.

Oh, good point! I'll have to mail one to my SIL. She'll be thrilled and I'll find out the mailing cost.

I decorate my envelopes all the time. I mailed a flip flop the other day. I got a weird look from clerk. Just send it.
