Default ISO:gift ideas for DD's "tween" friends

DD is 12 and a few of her friends are bringing gifts for each other for Christmas. So I need to come up with something inexpensive to make or do for her friends. Any ideas? TIA

My DD (13) made her friends calendar bookmarks and tear off magnetic calendars for their lockers.

You could make chapstick holder cards and maybe decorate some TicTac containers.

Or maybe decorated frames? And a pic of her and her friends in it?

My daughter is 12...and she loves writing notes, making cards and journaling. Maybe a little journal? Or an altered post-it note pad with some glittery pens?

I like the idea of glittery pens and a nice covered journal

You could also do name frames or a large decorated wooden letter.

Or maybe some monogrammed notecards?

This is a good idea too!

And inspires me with another brainstorm...

Do you have a Cricut or Alphabet dies of any kind? I know girls would love to have their name in letters that they could stick anyway. Maybe a Xyron strip with the letters of their name on it?

I made a few photo albums (the plastic kind you purchase at the local craft store for $1). You recreate the cover - I used Doodle This on mine - with the Friends sentiment from the set. My daughter loved the way they turned out. I have them posted to my gallery and blog. Hope that helps. They were cute - and quick and easy to make.
Here are the links:

I also made a few of the clear envelope brag books for her friends too - they are in my gallery too -

My niece is about that age and she lives the altered composition books. We are going to make some for her friends. I went to Target and found some mini gel pens (4 for $1 in the dollar spot) to include with them.

My neighbor that age made fleece scarves last year. You can cut cute fleece, or use school colors if you prefer.

For a grand-niece that age I made one of the mini-backpacks and put a sticky notepad in the front pocket and an altered mini comp book inside. Then I did a regular size comp book to match.
