Default What looks good with Vintage Violet?

I can't find anything that I like...creamy caramel and apricot? Hmmm... I need help...I want something that is a WOW combo. What colors(s) are you using it with?

This is a card I demoed at a class on Sunday- Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I used Sahara Sand as base card, and VViolet and Mellow Moss.
VV looks good with Almost Amethyst; Cool Caribbean; Only Orange; So Saffron; More Mustard; Bashful Blue.

I love VV with Bashful Blue and C. Celery or with Cameo Coral and Blush B.

Not exactly a wow, but I love it with Almost Amethyst.

I used it with True Thyme and Cool Caribbean -- very retro!

Thanks for all your suggestions! I was also having a lot of difficulty with this color. I keep wanting to use it with Pale Plum, but that just seems so boring.

Love your samples too!

Thank you, Paulette! I think I'm going to try and create a swap card with those colors for the Cincinnati Regional.

I'm using barely banana right now. I really like it. The violet and banana go well with Basic Grey Oh baby! Girl, Sophie. Oh, and my shirt goes well with it too since I just tried to use the reinkers with white grosgrain in the little stamp box and I shook it. So, don't shake it if you are trying this!
P.S. It works great inside the box, and I guess outside the box too, just not what I had planned on!

Hey everyone,

Thank you for all your suggestions. When I first tried using VV, I hated it and haven't touch it since. You all have given me hope and later tonight I'm going to try again with it.

Have a great day!
