uploading photos HELP!!!!!

how come when i upload photos to the gallery it always uploads the last one i uploaded along with the ones i'm trying to upload? i just uploaded some & it's got a whole bunch of duplicates.........???? :?

Hi - they looked like duplicates, but the file names were slightly different - like scan0019 and scan00191. That's why it seemed like you had a bunch of the same. I manually removed them already.

let me see if i can explain a little better..........

when i go into "upload into gallery", i enter the 3 new photos i want to upload & it gives me those 3 plus the last one i uploaded (the one i uploaded the day before).........there's a little box next to the photo with a check mark in it, i clicked the check mark off, but it still added the previously uploaded photo


does that make more sense????

do you have AOL by any chance? That problem seems to happen a lot to people with AOL. Don't know why, but I had the same issue when I had it, too!

Try a coupla things next time:
- make sure to save as .jpg format, around 60% quality. That will give you a small enough file size that you shouldn't have a problem with your ISP getting mixed signals.

- and don't forget to save as a unique file name, too. That's really important.

jenn, yes, i do have aol! i'll see what i can do.....if not, at least you have "job security".....deleting all my duplicates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol:
