When I'm at work, I can think of hundreds of great ideas for cards and notebooks, and dominos, and pens, but when I get home, I've lost all those great ideas I had. They apparently jump out of my brain when I'm making the long drive home ~ either that or my desk is my inspiration and maybe I should by one for home.
Does anyone else do this? Do you get great ideas at work but just forget what they were before you can implement them at home?
That happens to me all the time! I keep pads of paper at my desk so I can sketch out my ideas. Then I've at least got some representation of what I was visualizing so I can make it when I get home.
I am a post it note-aholic and whenever I get an idea I sketch it down - or if I see something I like on another site I do a quick sketch.
I just found a folder I was using at my last conference - since my division was putting it on I had to be there but didn't have to worry about taking notes the last 5 pages are filled with doodles of card ideas...
unfortunately for me I get this idea and then when I go and actually do it it doesn't come out as great as I had pictured in my head

I do it all the time! The drive home is usually my only quite time if my mind isn't racing with what I have yet to do in the day, or where the kids need to be or what is for supper! So don't feel too bad!
I'm a stay at home mom but have a similar phenomena. I get excellent ideas in the shower, but my first diet coke of the day seems to wash them all away before I get awake enough to do anything about them.
Ha, I'm a SAHM too and as soon as I head down to my corner the ideas evaporate. I get lots of great card ideas just before I fall asleep...I don't fall right to sleep, have to lay there and worry first!!! I should get right up and stamp as everyone is sleeping. I even have tons of inspirations from mags., etc and when I got to find what I saw, I can't find that either.

I email notes to myself. I know my hubby thinks I'm crazy when he opens our personal email and sees several messages from me to me, LOL!! Love that SCS has a favorites gallery so if I'm browsing at work, I can save samples in there to copy later.
I just print them up and run to the printer room! It happens all day every day- and I come home with everything printed out so I can try them out after dinner.
never at work, but always when I have layed down in bed, I to try to keep some sort of pad of paper or pen and or pencil with me to help me remember my great ideas, that to never make it to my craft room if they dont get written down....UGHHHH
Oh yeah - I thought I was the only one the was afflicted with this disorder. Glad to hear I have company!! Mostly though, I go to bed at night with a million ideas in my head only to wake up with amnesia - sort of like that dream you just can't quite remember.
