Default inking up clear stamps

I know I have heard mention of certain inks not being good for clear stamps. I tried a few searches but I must not have been putting in good key words. I remember something about solvent but I don't know what that means. Can I use staz on on them? Can I use embossing ink and emboss with them?
Thanks for any help or advice you can give me.

I only use clear stamps and I use Stazon and Embossing "ink" with clear stamps. The only thing I've read about is the really dark chalk inks are staining the acrylic really bad (so it's no longer clear). You shouldn't use stazon cleaner on your clear blocks (or anything with alcohol in it) because it can cause hairline cracks and make it cloudy. That's about all I know for now.
