Default More Great Greetings Stamp set

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had the "More Great Greetings" stamp set? I bought it at a garage sale and I'm wondering the history on it. How many stamps were in it, what catty did it come in etc. The set I bought has 10 stamps in it, am I missing any?

Thanks!

Oh, I loved that set! Hang on...I have some old catalogs I can look in...

OK, it was a set of 20...a fantastic all-purpose set. Almost all holidays covered with several different font styles.

Happy Wedding Day / Thanks! / Sorry... / Happy Father's Day / Happy Mother's Day / Happy Birthday! /
Just a Note / Warmest Wishes / Happy St. Patrick's Day! / Happy New Year! / With Sympathy / For You /
Merry Christmas / Happy Easter / Happy Thanksgiving / Happy graduation / S.W.A.K. / Happy Valentine's Day /
Harry 4th of July! / Happy Halloween!

Whew, lol! Lots of stamps... it came in wood-mounted (24.95) as well as foam mounted (16.95).

Oh, and I'm looking at a 1996/1997 catalog...not sure if that's the earliest one the set was in.

Congrats I finding one of my all-time most used sets! Sorry it is missing stamps but I'm sure you will find lots of uses for the ones you do have.

i'm pretty certain the set debuted in the 96/97 catalog. it retired in 2002 when the retail price had gone up to 29.95.

trivia? there was also a Great Greetings set during the same time frame; it also had 20 stamps, and sold for 29.95 the year it retired.

you guys are the best! Thanks! Too bad it is missing some good ones but I like the ones that are there. The copyright on it is 1993.

I have an old SU catalog that I found at a yard sale that has a picture of a clock on the front with a dark reddish brown background and it just says volume 6, the copyright is 1993. There are stamps from a bunch of different companies in it and really only a few SU sets.
