Default Creative Memories Side Kick

Anyone have this and do you like it? Does it hold bigger size cups-glasses &/or water bottles, like the 64oz ones? And can you use small trash liners/bags in them, or do you have to use the CM ones?
I have never seen this item in person, just on the web. It looks so useful, especially since I knock over my waterbottle like every other reach!! lol I do not know of any CM demos around here, and the one demo that I did get contacted with thru CM's website, blew me off like dust . Ebay has tons of them, but I dont really wanna go that route if I dont have to. I want to have some opinions on it before I buy it without seeing it, KWIM? THANKS for your help!!!

I love mine. It comes with bags and I just reuse them, but it will fit almost anything. I have even used a walmart bag before. as for fitting cups, I can fit my venti caramel frapachino with plenty of room ;) . Water bottles and such fit, I just don't know how big you can go before it won't fit.

Hope to help

I found that I use mine as an embossing gun holder most of the time! It is great and I just reuse the bags that came with it. Well worth the effort to get one.

I have one and I would buy another. I just keep reusing the same bag. I believe you get 3 when you buy it but I am still on the first one even after two years. Their is another brand on the market and it hold larger cups and you just use regular shopping bags. I have that one too but can't think what brand it is. I got it from my scrapbook store that was changing their tabels and they no longer fit. I like the bigger one but I still use my CM one. It is on my desk and my DH uses it a lot!

I have to say, the sidekick is the ONLY thing my husband's ever taken out of my crafting area and refused to give back. He has one on his computer desk, I have one on mine, and I had to buy a third to have one at my scrap table! LOVE it. (You don't have to use the trash/scrap bag attachment, just FYI.)

I love mine and have tried to figure out if any of my friends who are good with metal work could make me some for workshops. I really don't want to promote an item from another company, but must say drinks on the tables make me nervouse during workshops. It's also great for sewing. I love being able to just put my scrap string or scraps of fabric in the bag and keep on going.

Thanks Ladies!!

If anyone has the name of that other brand that markets the similar cup and trash holder that was mentioned, I would love to know. Just to compare.

And what is the retail price of the side kick from CM?

Thanks again!!!!!

It is Chatterbox and I purchased it at Recollections. The cup holder is 4 1/4 inches diameter with opening to accomodate a handle. I use plastic grocery bags with it. I think it was $15.00, and for sure not more than $20.00.

I have two on my stamping table. I dont put "wet" trash in the bags, only bits of paper and rubber scraps. I have had the same bag on for almost two years. I love them and anyone who sits at my table tells me that they want to buy one too. When I get a bigger house with room to leave long tables set up, I will buy one for each station.

I have the CM one, but I hate it. Not really sure why, I just don't like it.

I know lots of other people like it. I think I am totally in the minority here.

I love mine and was planning to make a cloth bag.....Do you need to make button holes for the wire to go through or can you just clamp it on?

I think it is 18.50

The Chatterbox one is MUCH nicer than the CM one. The Chatterbox one will also hold a HUGE water mug-type cup that you can also buy. The CM one will only hold a water bottle size mug. I do have the CM one and regret not buying the Chatterbox one :(

the cost for the SideKick is $15 and you can easily make a cloth bag for it without having to add holes...it will simply clamp on
