Default PTI Cream Cardstock/ Gina K's Ivory

I need to order some cardstock to make some wedding invites/place cards for my sister to match the guava bridesmaid dresses.......Does she not know that guava is an old SU in color?
Anyways.........Berry Sorbet from Papertrey looks like a close relative to the guava dresses.
My dilemna is I'm in Canada and want to maximize my shipping $$ and order the vintage cream cardstock from PTI. Can anyone tell me if its a close color to Gina K's Ivory??

Thanks for your help!

Chrissy, GinaK is a tad lighter, but it's a beautiful cream color. And the GKD heavy base wt. is thicker than PTI. It also comes in layering weight.

I can't help with the GinaK question, as I don't have any of her paper. The PTI vintage cream is a very pretty color, and works really well for card bases. I can tell you that Berry Sorbet is NOTHING like SU's Groovy Guava. PTI's Melon Berry is a near identical match for Groovy Guava. I will try to attach a pic of the three, but it is raining here, so I don't know how it will turn out. If the dresses match SU Groovy Guava, you might be better off with PTI Melon Berry. The top paper is PTI Melon Berry, the darker one is PTI Berry Sorbet, and the bottom paper is SU Groovy Guava. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for your answers ladies and thanks Jennifer for taking the pic of the comparisons!
The dresses are coming from Davids Bridal and the color Guava is "their" name for the color...........I 'm posting a link here because I really think its closest to Berry Sorbet despite them calling it "guava".........

I already have some of Gina K's awesome cardstock in Ivory but would need more and since I am going to order from PTI, I think I'll go with the cream from PTI. I would rather order all of it fro Gina K because her shipping costs to Canada are awesome.....but she doesn't have any color that matches the "guava" from David's Bridal........:(

You're right, those look more like Berry Sorbet! At least close enough that I doubt anyone but you would notice the difference! Good luck with your project!!
