I have an tray and it has a tendency to stick when emptying it. I have tried an dryer sheet, an good degreaser dish soap & baby powder in a sock (that just created a cute fluffy design!!!). Any ideas? I will share this with many of my friends who said they have the same problem.
Thanks

Reason: duplicate
Have you tried the embossing buddy? Or do what I did, put the stupid thing aside and use a piece of paper and I've been doing this for years. I was just thinking I should see if I could sell that dumb thing that is taking up space. Can you tell I think it's useless!
I used a coffee filter - the ones that are kinda triangular shape. If I'm doing a larger project I use Miss Rox's technique with a piece of paper. I could never get rid of the static on mine.

I use the tray for microbeads. But I use a piece of printer paper folded in half (to make a crease) for EP. I've never been able to get the tray to work with the powder either...
I'm glad I'm not the only one! I sprayed hairspray on my tray and it seemed to help a little. I also bought a wider paint brush to brush the stuff down the funnel. I'm glad I only bought a cheapo tray from the craft store instead of SU's more expensive one. I do, however, like having the tray to pour the powder/beads/glitter into when applying to the paper.
I had been using paper plates (cheap and plentiful enough to use one for each color) until I decided to buy one of those stupid trays! What a waste of money. I have found that it works better on non-metallic EPs, like the clear.
I tried the dryer sheet, but it made it sticky. I am wondering if the "Static Guard" spray would work???
Either way, it is a pain to have to clean it out each time I switch to a different color EP. I prefer my paper plates, and it's a good way to use up all those leftover birthday party, baby shower, holiday plates!
