Retro Alphabet

Just wondering what sparked the disappearance of the retro alphabet sets? I was able to get them, but was curious of why they took such a hot set out of the catalog.

I didn't even see more than three examples of it in the gallery. Weird.

Didn't they say "for legal reasons"? I assumed it was because it was a bit too close to another brand's alphabet, but I don't know for sure. Would like to know though!
