Default What's up with this?

A few months ago, my demo told me that absolutely none of the stamp sets in the mini catalogs would be included in the new catalog. Either buy them during the mini period, or you will not be able to get them.

I saw quite a few sets in this new catalog that were in minis during the past year. What's the story on this?

You were misinformed (if thats a word). That is not what Stampin' Up! told the demos. Maybe she made a mistake or maybe she said it to boost her mini catalog sales, who knows.

Demos were told that absolutely NO hostess sets and NO SAB sets would carry over to the new catalog. HOWEVER, that mini catalogs sets that go into the folowing years catalog will be limited and we mean limited.

What has some demos stumped is we were told this and then half of the spring mini catalog made into the new catalog making every demo that passed on the message look bad.

The announcement by SU! was that "very few" mini catalog sets would make the cut for the coming IB & C; they really didn't give demonstrators any specifics beyond that.

Unfortunately, this was misinterpreted by many as "absolutely none", and there was considerable confusion.

Your demonstrator may have informed you based on unofficial misinformation relayed to her, or merely misunderstood the announcement herself.

Unfortunately, it is also not uncommon for information circulated on various message boards to become "distorted" from the actual facts.
