Default what's PVA glue?

Is PVA glue just the Elmer's glue or what?!

gram2boyz....It is a white glue, but what I have is in a jar so it is a creamier consistency than a runny Elmer's glue. Elmer's glue is too wet for paper applications and it also takes a rather long time to dry.....may be lumpy when dry also.

It's a lot like tacky glue, but it's acid-free and dries with more flexibility than regular tacky glue.

PVA means polyvinyl acetate and it is one of the most common adhesives on the market. It covers various glues including wood glue, carpenters glue, bookbinding glue, school glue, etc.

Paper Source makes a bookbinders glue that they simply call PVA glue and it comes in a widemouth jar. But most every white or yellow glue that dries clear is PVA.
