Default how would I get this look re: embossing?

Okay, I want to emboss some snowflakes in ruby red and prefer to use classic ink. How can I do that? Is it possible?

Ooh, ooh, I know this....

First ink up your stamp with versamark, then with your classic ink. You can put clear embossing powder over it and heat.

Ooooh, really? Does that "hurt" your classic pad in any way? Getting the versamark in there I mean?

You could stamp your image in Ruby red, then re-stamp it with versamark (stamp-a-ma-jig makes it easier) and then use clear ep. I think this should work for you but it would take alot more work.

It's easy to emboss using classic inks. You just need a VersaMark pad as well.

Tap your stamp first on your VersaMark pad then tap it on your classic (or other dye ink) pad. Now stamp your image onto your cardstock. Pour clear embossing powder over your image and heat.

Does that make sense??

You ladies are great and fast! So this won't hurt my classic pad to go into the versamark first?

I stamped a card today with just regular ink and then put clear embossing powder on it. It worked great!

It will work with classic if the pad is juicy and you do it QUICK! heat from the underside of the paper to avoid blowing away your powder.
