Default Milwaukee Stamp Expo this past weekend...

Just wondering if anyone here went? I was staying right at the Sheraton!!! Couldn't believe my eyes when we pulled in and saw it on their sign. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go. We were on a mini family vacation and had everyday planned out! And I didn't really want to pay for just an hour of browsing! So I'm just wondering if I missed out on meeting any of you and what you saw at the show???

Default MPLS event

I can't say anything abotu the Milwaukee event, but I'll say that I've been disappointed for the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook expo in MPLS/St. Paul MN this year. I think i've gone three times, and it seems like each year they have fewer vendors, and fewer unmounted stamps.

Default Heirloom Productions Art & Stamp Festival/Rockford, IL

I went to the Art and Rubber Stamp Festival at Rockford this last weekend and was very much dissssapointed also. Fewer vendors than ever... and too much collage-type stamps(same as I've seen before.) I almost left without buying anything-I've spent big bucks in the past-but I was the first winner of the $25 rubber bucks drawing so I did end up with a couple new things. I'm not sure why the Milwaukee Expo people chose the same weekend as the Rockford one. Seems they could plan better, unless they think us crazy stamp people would go to both! Probably the last time I will go at least for a while.

Rockford Show

Debbie--
You must have been the one with the BLUE Bag!!! Three of us went and were also very disappointed this year. This is our 3rd year and we went in at 10 and left at 12:30 and didn't go back. We always go for both days and spend the whole day there both days. This year was terrible. :( We did hear what happened when we went to Rockton on Sat. night for a make and take special at the rubber stamp store. They had a lady there from The Paper Cut and she had some awesome ideas and cards for us to make for $1 each. I guess there was some problems between Heirloom and several of the vendors that were going to be there so they didn't have very many vendors for us shoppers.
Needless to say we do not plan on going back and spending 2 nights in a hotel for that one again. We did go to a fantastic store in Janesville. WI though and spend all our money there instead. Much better deal than what we saw at the show.
