Default What's the difference between...

the White Vellum Cardstock ($6.50) and White Vellum Paper ($4.95) in the Stampin Up Catalog (page 202)?

I'm making baby announcements (thanks for the help yesterday) and I'll need quite a few sheets. So, if you have any ideas of where I can get a better price on vellum, I'd love to know that, too!

Thanks!

I was told that the cardstock vellum is just thicker (heavier) than the paper. Your baby announcements sound beautiful, by the way. I love, love, love Toile!

Thickness is the difference. The CS vellum doesn't curl easily, so if you are using it as an overlay on the announcements, it's the one to go with. I actually printed info on mine on the computer. With my last printer, the ink beaded on the CS vellum, but not the regular. It was strange. With my current printer, it's fine on both. You can also take it to a printer and they can copy it for you.

Thanks! Looks like the cardstock vellum is the way I want to go.

I have used both to make wedding invits and I prefer the vellum the CS rips so if you are going to fold it don't use the scorer or it will rip it. Both invites were wonderful but I do prefer the regular vellum.
