I think you get 3 other people to split the cost with you, and each month one person gets one color family until you are done.

I am presently running a marker club. The "club" is a group of 4 people who want to acquire the entire set of 48 markers and the box, but spreading their purchase over a 4 month period. Each month, the club members pay abt $48 (I don't have th exact figure) which is the cost of 1 package of assorted card stock, and 1/4 of the cost of the marker set. The total order qualifies for hostess credit and thus each month, one member gets the Level 1 benefits.

Each month, the members receive one color family worth of markers and the coordianting assorted card stock. The hostess receives her marker and paper family, as well as the marker case and the Level One benefits.

That's exactly how my demo ran it as well. It made it much easier to get the markers when the cost was broken down over the 4 month period.

This is the appealing aspect for my club members as well.

So you, as the demo, each month would order 1 set of the 48 markers with the case, and 4 (one for each family) packs of assorted card stock?

What about the 3 neutrals? Are those separate?

Do you front the cost at the first meeting, or just order after money has been received? So you would do something else on the first meeting.

1. My marker club is only for the core 48 colors. It does not include neutrals or In Colors. The goal is for the members to each acquire the marker box and the markers that come with the box.

2. My marker clubs do not physically meet, unless the hostess chooses to hold a workshop in conjunction with the order due date to increase her benefits.

3. Marker Club money is due no later than the 15th of each month and I send Paypal invoices on the 10th as reminders and to accept payments. Once I have everyone's order (of the wanted to add extras) and their payment, I place the order for deleivery to my house. Once the order is received I break it down for the participants and then deliver. For out of town club members there is an additional surcharge to cover the additional postage costs.

Hello I did a Marker club as well this year..but I added on 8 sheets of each of the neutrals (gray, black, and sahara sand) and 1 of each of those markers into the price.

Then when it was the hostesses month she got her markers for the month, her cardstock family for the month, and the neutral papers and markers and her marker box. And of course her Hostess benefits.

These way she was up and running. Since going gray is leaving this year..I may substitute it with the confetti white...still thinking about that.

THEY ARE KEEPING THE CLASSIC GOING GRAY AND INTRODUCING A NEW BASIC GRAY. SO THEY WILL OFFER A LIGHT AND DARK VERSION. HOPE THAT HELPS IN YOUR DECISION.

Thanks for the information. I usually use craft inks but if I can get a light and dark I think i would like that better.
