Default what is your newest most favorite stamping products right now.

Just checking in to see how many of you have bought any new products lately that any stamping company has come out with in the last 3 months.it takes a little longer for any new products to reach the EAST COAST.so I thought I would come here to see whats new out there that I haven't seen yet.

same with any new techniques that you seen lately at any shows or conventions.

I just saw a guy do a collage card.he used black stazeon ink and stamped his image on the card maiking it a collage look to it. then he used strazeon inks in a mustard, blazing red,and azure blue.and used makeup sponges and glossy paper and padded the card with these 3 primary colors.then once the card was covered he wiped it all off and what amaing colors appeared on the card.then he used a white pen and just highlighted certain areas of the card by making a straight line un a word that was used on the card.he also has some stencils with words like life, live, love, anything that fits to the theme.

this is just one of the cool techniques I learned this weekend at a craft show.so now I have to go buy azure blue.he also had some othe rfun new stazeon colors.

I have the staz on white opaque ink pad and I really like it. I still prefer my SU! white craft pad for everyday stamping, but I like the staz on for special projects. (clip boards, glass, etc...)

I just got the MM paper distresser thing - it is a small hand-held black plastic thing with a V-notch and blade inside the notched area to rough up the paper edges... I love the look for distressing the paper edges but hate what it does to my fingernails so for $2-3 am happy to have it!!

I LOVE the new MM foam stamp set flower. It is soooo versatile. You can use them with the craft inks and it looks AWESOME! So rich!

I am hooked on the Sakura glaze pens - they come in beautiful colors and leave a raised image. And dry fast. The Souffle pens by the same company are also good.

And Glitz Spritz!!!

I have a card I made for Christmas using the pens, I did the berries w/ a rusty red colored pen, and I did the ribbons w/ a green colored glaze pen.
Here is the link: http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=13148 The pict. isn't the best to show the colors but it shows how it is a little shiny and raised. I also used the glitter glue on the pine boughs on the sides of the card. They are fun and easy to use.

I too love the Stardust pens. Bought the Snap Stamp letters by Karen Foster (think letters on legos so you get any saying straight and evenly placed) and am so in love with them. I adore EZ Mount Cling Foam, and The Pattern of Friendship stamps are my favorite set in a couple of years.

Beeswax. It's not new, but it's new to me. I did a 6 X 6 canvas with it yesterday in a class. Time to dust off my melting pot, craft iron and get more beeswax! I'll try get a photo of it later today...now that I've cleaned the house, it's time to play!

Just tried the Castaway stamp pad (changes paper color with heat from iron).

My first attempts did not come to much. I would like to see samples that turned out well.

My LSS just got the greatest cs. It's called sorbet. If you love bright colors this is for you. It's two sided and comes in colors like pink on one side chocolate drown on the other. Awesome. They also have new punches that I don't know who makes that punch your image in half so you can use half the image or put two together to create one image. Very cool with the two sided cs!
