Jeanne,
I got Ladybuds as a gift and I really like it. I overlooked it in the catalog but it is very cute! I even CASED one of your cards using it and the Gamsol/Prisma Pencils and stumps. I have to say I also really like Wild Rose and Happy Everything! This is a good thread because everyone's taste is different. It seems like know matter how often I look through the catty I can always find a stamp set I overlooked!

I had to have Be Happy and Bodacious Bouquet as my first purchases. I have them now. I need Circle of Friendship, Seeing Spots, and a few others. I have my catty all tabbed and ready.

What made you move to TX from OR? I'll be visiting OR on and off for the next 8 months as dh is there on a work assignment. He'll come home some and I'll be there some.

Wow! You all have such great sets, and awesome wish lists. I think it would take me an hour to type out my wish list (you should see all the colored tabs I've added to the pages of my catalog!) I'll definitely be watching the galleries for the sets I haven't marked to see what amazing things are uploaded. You're all such enablers!

Shannon, I moved to Texas for love. Not a love for the state of Texas, but to be with my boyfriend. If you're anywhere near the Eugene area on your trips to Oregon, let me know! I lived there for about 10 years and can tell you all kinds of fun things to do, great places to eat, etc.

Promises to be another scorcher here today... Thank goodness for AC, and ice cubes in my tea!

Emily, Lawn Oranaments!?! WOW!! Get busy girl! I want to see samples!!!
And yes, I'm with you on the holiday cards! I have Hung Up on the Holidays, The Snowflake Spot, and Festive Favorites on my list for Christmas... and of course, Peaceful Wishes arrived earlier this week, but I don't see that set as a "Christmas" set just yet.

Anna, I'm so excited you started this thread! Now I can see what all my splitcoast heroes want and love!

I'm trying to hash out my second order and it is soooo hard since I don't have unlimited stamp cash!

My favorites that I have are Hip Hip Hooray, Birthday Beauty, and Warm Words! I'm getting Paisley and Dotted but past that I'm not sure. I really want Mixed Bouquet, Wild About You, Super Squirrel, Ahoy Matey, Peaceful Wishes, Snow Flurries, and several others. The only new ink I have is Caribbean and SCS has informed that I need Cranberry! (And I HAVE to buy what y'all tell me, right?) No matter what I take off it seems like every time I add up my order it's still twice what I have to spend. <sigh>

Anna, anytime you want to get out of the dry heat and enjoy the humid side of Texas, you have an open invitation to come stamp at my house. Just make sure there isn't a hurricane in the Gulf.

I've already gotten Happy Everything, Aida cloth BG, Paisley BG, and Time with you...I've got a friend who is an avid cyclist, so I got this set JUST to make cards for her

Anyway, still on my list are
Wild about you
Peaceful Wishes
The snowflake Spot
Espressoly for you
Artfully Asian
Seeing Spots

there's more, but this is the "abbreviated" list. My 'must-haves' haven't changed too much from my inital run through, I think the list just keeps getting longer, thanks to SCS!

Anna, good luck with your unpacking, and stay cool!!! I'm enjoying the beautiful weather up here in the NE, hope we can send some your way!

Well I have to say I made a wishlist when the new catalog first came out and my must haves now are not even on the list. I just got Sassy Stems after seeing the samples in the gallery and I also like In the Wild which I didn't even look at. Mixed Bouquet is also starting to grow on me.

I am subscribing to this thread since I have not seen the new catalog yet! I have been gone since late June and my demo did not send me a new catalog like she said she would. So, I am curious to get it and see what everyone is excited about. My to do list today includes calling my demo and getting the catalog.

I had been valiantly avoiding Snowflake Spot, but after seeing superb samples in the gallery, it's on my shortlist! I am hoping to someday get Seeing Spots, Snowflake Spot, the ticket corner punch, and the word window punch.

I had really wanted On the Spot but kind of got turned off by all the elaborate trimming that needs to be done to make the bg easy to use.

I love Happy Everything and Seeing Spots. And I have finally gotten brave enough to use Paisely. I love it! And I am going to do cards for a card swap tomorrow with it! I'm excited! Oh, I forgot warm words--I really am having with that too!

Sets I thought I had to have at first but have now cooled on:

Close as a Memory (I still like it, but it's moved down the list)
Designer Label Tag punch (I know I would never use it)
Hung Up on Holidays

Things I had to have and got:
Wild about You
Polka-dot Posies
In Colors Cardstock Asst.

Things I need in the future:
Friendship Flowers
Blossoms Abound
Simply Said
Kindness Jumbo wheel

Things I've now added or just moved up the list thanks to SCS:
Dotted BG
Ticket Corner Punch
Paisley BG (I have Paisley Print, but I need this one, too!)
Happy Everything
Well-Worn Words (I thought this would be more popular than it seems to be.)
Seeing Spots
The Snowflake Spot
Spot On (notice a theme, here!?)
Peaceful Wishes

I was thinking, too, that that was a lot of money for the designer label tag punch... i think budget money would go further without that... Anyone have it and absolutely love it?

It seems most people that have gotten well worn words seem to describe it as not being what they thought and blotchy. I too thought this was a gotta have it but know I am not so sure. On the other hand I really didn't even give Dotted BG a second look until I saw teh ideas in the gallery.

I signed on to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator last month and cohosted my first party with my sister. It was a major success and I ended up using all of my commission (30% for the first order--woo hoo!) to put a MAJOR dent in my wish list.

These were the stamp sets in my first new catty order:

Wild About You
Play on Words
Paisley BG
Sew Seasonal
Warm Words
Background Sampler
Simply Said
Unfrogettable
Bodacious Bouquet
Because of You
Circle of Friendship
Happy Everything
Snowflake Spot
Much Appreciated
Frosty
A Light Heart

Hostess Sets:

Basket Full of Fun
In Any Event
Blooming With Happiness

Plus the 3 rolls of stitched ribbon from the Holiday Mini and a ton of cardstock and accessories! I am actually in the middle of putting it away right now...just heaven!
