Default What are your favorites now!?

This may have been covered recently, but I couldn't find it in the forums for the past few weeks, soooo please excuse if this is a duplicate of a recent similar post.

I'm just curious, now that the initial thrill of the new catalog has settled, what are peoples favorite must-have sets? Have your opinions changed since you first got the catalog? Or do you still love the sets that first caught your eye?

I've been MIA for a while, and want to get back in-the-know about what's gettin' people buzzed!

There are just way too many things I *need* to have like yesterday!! My favorites haven't really changed... more was just added to my list of must-haves! Isn't that always how it goes??

My first order included Bodacious Bouquet, Mixed Bouquet, First in Fashion, and Wild About You... which I *love* all of them!! My next order will have Happy Everything, Many Merry Messages, Festive Favorites, Be Happy, Dotted BG, Paisley BG, Snow Flurries (from mini), the cutter kit, the oval punches, all the stitched ribbon... OK... I think I should stop now! LOL!

Got and love the oval punches and Well Worn Words. Also love the new In Color papers and inks.

Got and love, but regret, Silly Sealife. I was drawn to the cute images, but find they're really not my style after all.

I'm so glad you're sharing! I got an order yesterday that had Bugs & Kisses, Seeing Spots, Warm Words, Take Three, and .. um, Peaceful Wishes, Snow Flurries and Blooming w/ Happiness. Oh ya, and Flannel Plaid and Well Worn Words. JEEZ! I went a little crazy I think.

I of course haven't had time to use them all, although I did get them all mounted.

I flip through the catty and have started to find time to browse the galleries, but I know I've missed so many wonderful creations for sets I haven't taken a close look at.

Just need more time in a day!

My favorite set from the new catty is Ladybuds. I'm loving all the new colors, the Spritzer Tool, ovals and tag corner punches.

Speale, I'm with you on Birthday Beauty... I had to have that set, and it's one that I've used in my limited time. I combined the sentiments and the crown with my old lady Art Impressions stamp!

Agh, yes! I remember it now! That's a cute one, and on my list for a "free" one when I get an order big enough together. I'll have to check out the Ladybuds gallery too!

Good reminder, Jeanne!

Settled? No... not really. But I did unpack the last box for the bathroom today. Ha! If that tells you anything... I hate unpacking. My hands are so sore from moving boxes and opening boxes and flattening boxes.

We've been here almost 15 years and I still have some boxes in the back of the closet in the spare room. I know just what you mean.

Do tell Anna - are you an official Texan? I thought I read on SCS that you may be moving here....

When the catty came out, I made a wishlist - I have only bought three things from it. Silly Sealife, Word Search and Paisley BG. Due to what I have seen on SCS, I have bought Wild About You and Sew Sweet I want to place an order for Ladybuds (thanks to Jeanne S), Because of You, Birthday Beauty and Living Large. None of these were on my initial list but because of art I have seen on SCS, I gotta have them!!!

Because of You is another of my favorites

I found myself getting alot of the smaller (and less pricey) sets this year. There are a ton of cute under $20 sets in this catalog. Love it!

It's been extra ugly this summer. I moved here in the spring with all the wildflowers, I fell in love before the weather turned icky.

I agree - I noticed that when I got the catty this year - tons of cute sets under $20. In the long run, I'm sure I will spend wayyyyyyy more money!

We haven't had much humidity this year. But boy has it been a dry year. Our 12 acre pond is a puddle right now.

Wow! that is dry! I'm just praying no hurricanes - I am thankful for every month that ticks by and is uneventful until November!

We got about an inch of rain on July 4th, but other that that we haven't had anything measurable since April. Tough year on the ranchers and farmers.

World Tour, Designer Punch Label (if only it were not so outrageously expensive!) and Riveting.

Well, St. Louis hasn't been exactly cool, either. We had a bunch of really hot, humid days, plus we had some very damaging storms, with 500,000 people out of power for days (luckily, I wasn't one of them, but my daughter was without power for awhile). The last couple days have been pretty nice for August.

Well, back to the subject at hand. My first purchase was Blossoms Abound - so many pretty cards made with this set (even though I swore I wouldn't get another flower set - LOL). I also like the A to Z accents, Happy Everything, Peaceful Wishes, All Through the Year (I think it's called that).

There are, of course, others, but these will be first.

Howdy.... My favorite new stuff has been of course Eat Cake and Wild About You. I love all the new In Colors, Ticket Corner Punch, Oval Punches (just acquired), and Designer Series paper. I think too much to mention!

I was intially drawn to this one too! I've been dissapointed because I haven't seen many sample made with it yet.

Can you believe that I still haven't ordered anything from the new catty!!!

First on my list is:
Serene Sunflower
Warm Words
Bugs and Kisses
Ladybuds
Lily Pad Wheel
Stinkin Cute
Letter Patterns

Hi all.

So far, some of the faves I got,
paisley
mixed bouquet
bud basics from the mini
happy everything
the new colors
tag and ticket punches
I'm sure there are others, but my memory is slipping for the day.

I have another order coming to me either tomorrow or Friday. I'll have to remember what goodies I got to play with in there.

Of all the new sets and wheels I've bought so far (there have been a lot), my faves are Give Thanks, Warm Words, and the Rough Texture jumbo wheel. I have a new order on the way, so this list of faves could change! LOL!

My list of favs hasn't changed much. Blossoms Abound, Ladybuds, Songbirds, all of the new jumbo wheels are way too cool, Warm Words, are just a few of them. Now, thanks to Jeanne S, my DH made me order Happy Camper because he fell in love with her cards, and after making a few myself, it's on the fav list too. There are a whole lot more of the under $20 ones that I need to get (not want...need) so looks like I'm putting another order in. As for the accessories....name the new one and I love it. That's been the majority of my orders lately, and the new colors. For some reason I keep running low on cardstock.

Of all the new sets I find I am loving Silly Sea Life the most out of my new ones. I didn't end up liking Mix N Mingle as much as I thought I would. I know a lot of people disagee but I really like the lady in the Stampin Fun for Everyone. My most favorite new one is my Paisly BG it looks awesome with male cards and I just tried it out to see what it looked like in pink. love it!

http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=42741

I also really enjoy Wildlife Reserve. Those animals are ther perfect size to fit on a tag!

I had to have all of these: Designer Label Punch, First in Fashion, Seeing Spots, Peaceful Wishes, Bugs and Kisses, Paisley, Happy Everything, Quirky Quips, of which I bought, oh, ALL of them, I have very little self-control.

The only ones that I am in LOVE with are Peaceful Wishes, Happy Everything and Bugs and Kisses. I don't know what I was thinking with Quirky Quips, I have made several cards that have only made it as far as the trash can with this set, I just don't know what to do with it. And the Paisley bg that everyone here makes look so beautiful, I ruin every card I make with it, I don't know...Hopefully the gallery will fill up with tons of ideas with these sets and I will be inspired to use them.

The one thing that I do love more than any stamp sets in the new catty are the In Colors, the Cool Caribbean and Cranberry Crisp are the best!

I also have 2 hostess sets, Measure of a Life and Riveting and Measure of Life is on ebay already and Riveting is probably next to go! Why I didn't get Blooming w/Happiness, Warmest Regards or Reason to Smile I will never know, they are so much more my style. Luckily there are always more workshops and club meetings

My one favorite set is the Close As A Memory set, had to order that one, and the pirate set, Ahoy Matey, also had to have the new in colors!

I love many merry messages, happy everything, spot on, seeing spots, hung up on the holidays, sweet shapes...I could go on and on.

So far, I am loving Be Happy, Happy Everything, and Take Three (with the matching ds paper!). I am really wanting Birthday Beauty and Bodacious Bouquet (with matching wheel and brass template). Oh, and I also really like All Through the Year, which seems really versatile and has an inspiration sheet already!

I love sassy stems! And my lawn ornament set....although I am probably alone on that one.

Someone start making some great christmas cards so I can be inspired and pick a set for mine already~!

I too love Birthday Beauty - I am using her in my card event this weekend. Bodacius Boquet is an awesome flower set - I just had to have it and have fallen in love.....

You're neat is really cute.

Bugs and kisses is great for heat embossing!

I just got the spritzer tool which is way cool with the markers.

The new designer and two sided papers are must haves.

This has been the best catalog to date - everything in it has staying power!

Originally, the Dotted b/g wasn't even on my radar. Now that I've seen the great ways you all have used it, I must have it too.
