Default Poll for SU demonstrators

How do you feel about your SU website? I'm thinking about being a demo and just wondered....

I think it's the only reason I get calls from the demo locator.

I also think it's a must for anyone running a business... web based marketing being such an important component.

I think it's ALSO ofr my existing customers... good way to advertise up coming events.

While it is still "imperfect" (I think the personal websites lack some basic ellements that would better help me promote my business)... I think it is a MUST. AND you can create your own Stamping website. It must work in conjunction with the SU website and follow some basic guidelines.. But many demos do this.

Ask your future upline for more information, but feel free to PM me with further questions. I have researched this quite extensively as I plan on creating my own website soon.

I needed to click off on two of the points! It has definitely brought me new customers and I use it to keep my current customers updated with my calendar. The calendar is my favorite feature, along with the gallery. I can post my class and workshop schedule and post samples of what we are making in my gallery. I love having the website. It's been a great asset to my business.

I have used it to list events that are coming up and links to the specials.

I've started to use it to show samples. I used to send one or two via email. Now I can upload about 18 which is a far better way to show them to customers without clogging their inboxes! I've begun swapping them out 2x per month.

I'm not a demo, but thought I would throw in my $.02. When I went to the demo locator, the first ones I contacted were the ones with their own website.

Two of my customers from the demo locator told me this same thing.

If I had a strong customer base, I can see it being a great benefit. But I don't so I choose not to have one. Once I get regular customers, I'm sure I'll sign up for one!

I didn't vote because my option wasn't on there... but I got my first recruit off the demo locator because I had a website. She looked at those first before contacting any of us. So I definitely felt it was worth it!

I used to have one. I let it go because I didn't like the look of it anymore. I was hoping that DS would update it to look more like the new customer and Demo websites. I haven't looked into it in a while. Has it been updated?

I'm not a demo, but I would like to be one sometime soon. How much does it cost to have a demo website?

I think it's $7.95 a month.
