Default has anyone ever????
I was wondering if anyone has ever made their own... embossing powder before..with clear EB and glitter?? is this possible?? Help would be great!!!

I haven't, but I've heard of people mixing clear EP and Pearl Ex to make coloured EP. Never tried it though!

At the Stamp Camp I just went to they did this. They mixed gold EP with Dazzling Diamonds. Let me see if I can find the formula...1/4 tsp Dazzling Diamonds vs. 1/2 tsp Gold Detail EP. We used this to emboss stamps from Crazy for Christmas to make votive holders. They turned out really nice. Good luck.

One year I mixed clear and white ep with a bit of purple ultrafine glitter to make the MOST beautiful "snow" for my christmas cards. Go ahead and experiment! There are actually some "recipe books" out there for mixing different ep's and glitters to get different effects. Ranger Industries used to have one, I know...

My 10 yo daughter ends up doing this everytime she uses my stuff! I have a very glittery black right now and it works like a charm. Who says mistakes can't be good! Experiment!
