Default What are your favorite colors from the Earth Elements family?

I just recieved 6 blank pads and I am going to make my own with reinkers as soon as I order them because it is cheaper.
But I can only choose 6 from Earth Elements so which ones?
I have all the other families already.

I love all the EE colors, but the ones I use the most are Creamy Caramel, More Mustard, Old Olive, Really Rust, Summer Sun, and Pumpkin Pie. I use Not Quite Navy the least.

I use More Mustard *all* the time. I also use Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa a lot (these are the three I use for "aging" when I sponge). Garden Green is a good green, Not Quite Navy and Ruby Red would be my other choices.

Red face

The blank commotion ink pads from Inky Antics this weekend are the way to go. I ordered 8, and also 8 reinkers from my demo... All colors I love in from EE and also Gold, and Copper.....You can not beat an ink pad for $1 plus, $2.50....and all you have to do is squirt the ink on it?
At least I HOPE it works out....!!

Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Old Olive, and Not Quite Navy. If I could only choose a limited number from each family, I would try to go with a representation of each color featured within that family. I did duplicate by choosing two browns, but I think they are different enough to both be useful in their own right. Hope this helps!

The ones I use most frequently are Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Really Rust, in that order.

I think the greens in other families are nicer, like Artichoke, Celery, and Moss, and I don't really care for Cameo Coral or Summer Sun.

I'm not as experienced as many of the other repliers are, but to me Choc. Chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, and More Mustard are pretty essential. I like Ruby Red and Pumpkin Pie as 5th and 6th choices.

creamy caramel - Awesome for aging, nice soft color
chocolate chip - The PERFECT dark brown!
pumpkin pie - Wonderful warm spice orange.
old olive - My second favorite green SU makes!
ruby red - Lovely red, not a harsh "in-your-face" red.
summer sun - A nice cheery yellow.

Those would be my top picks HTH

Ruby Red and Garden Green are two of my all-time favorite colors from any family. I think Creamy Caramel is definitely a good choice as well...plus Chocolate Chip or Close to Cocoa (if you can only do six I'd just pick one of those), Pumpkin Pie and Summer Sun or Really Rust. This is actually the only color family for which I have all 12 colors so far. I'd say you can't go wrong with Ruby Red, Garden Green, and Creamy Caramel.

Hey there! I am a misplaced Napan - real close to Novato. Now in Utah, (yeah - I know, I know). How was good ole Novato today? Miss it there. My folks just visited us here, and are driving back through Calif as I post. Have you been to Petaluma yet! Used to make a day of visiting Novato, Petaluma and Bodega Bay, then ended with dinner in Sebastapol (The Hotel), or at the Tides. That was home for me, *sigh*. If you need some fun ideas for the area let me know!
