Question What are your favorite Christmas Color Combination?

I thought it would be fun to find out what color combinations we all like when it comes to our Christmas cards. And of course Hunakkuh and Kwanzaa and any others that I may have missed! So what do you think??

My favorite Christmas card I ever made was unconventional colors. It was Night of Navy and I stamped the snowflakes set with Versamark and dusted them with .....oh what are those iridescent powders called.....I can't remember their name....brain f*rt.....Pearl EX...that's it!!
Anyway they were gorgeous. I think I layered the Night of Navy on a dark red panel and attached it to a black card. Then I silver embossed the saying "silent snowflakes gently falling"(can't remember it exactly--not SU).
My best card ever IMHO.

I'd love to show you. I sent them all out but scanned it into my computer. Then the computer crashed. $200 later the computer was all better but wiped clean. :( So no card now. I think my SU demonstrator made her Christmas cards like it too.

I made one this evening with garden green and regal rose and liked that. I also used some gold accents (Stardream stationery).

PaperKat, there is a demo-only forum that a lot of us subscribe to. You have to have proof that you are a demo, etc... We discuss a lot of business things on that side. I'm sorry you can't access that thread. I will try to look at it and see if I can copy and paste some things into this thread.

That is a great list! I have to say I am in the pink and green mood again. It started last year. I just love the softness and the different feel. I just don't really like the red and green thing.

My cards last year & this year will be Night of Navy and Whisper White. I also like Old Olive and Real Red, but there are so many wonderful combinations out there. I guess the best thing to do is just to play around with colors until you come up with one that will work for you. Enjoy!

Blue and white....
My favorite has been around a while but it always gets the oohs... it is Snowflakes embossed in white on white CS, then sponged over with blue (any shade). Looks incredible and takes a very short amount of time. If you're short on cash, you can do it in only one layer and it's just so simple and lovely no one will miss anything.

I love Cranberry Crisp and will probably pair it with Night of Navy and add a bit of True Thyme.

I also want to use Rose Red with Garden Green. I think this combo (with Certainly Celery) was mentioned in the thread someone provided a link to.

Other combos I like:

Night of Navy with Whisper White and / or Brushed Silver
Elegant Eggplant with Brushed Silver
Real Red with Brushed Gold
Night of Navy with Brushed Copper

(I love Night of Navy and the brushed colors!)

This is fun!

I just did one using Snowflakes in shades of brown - odd, but I actually love the way it turned out! It's in my gallery if you'd like to peek!

I'm loving the other combos you all have come up with...especially violet, caribbean cool and pink - who'd've thought?!
